  2. Its definitly the mothers fault. She should'nt have made her daughter wear the scarf without understanding why she putted it on from the start. Its the role of every muslim parents since they took the responsibility of bringing up there kids in the west to teach them their religion, make them understand why they dress the way they dress or act the way they do. Its hard enough for an adult not but to compromise to the fitnahs in the west (ilaa man raxima rabi), what do we expect from an 11 years old? Salaam

  12. hey abaayo, am not really sure but friends of mine use this product they buy from local arab shops or the somali malls. Its called "Diana" . They said that it comes with a natural Soap free of chemicals, you wash your face once in the morning with it, and once before you sleep and then apply a small amount of the cream to your face for approximately 4weeks. so far am yet to see any side effects on any of the girls, and the result is amazing wallahi, one thing though, this cream tends to make you little bit lighter so yeah...I don't think its good in your case. Don't take my words macaanto i have just heard people speak about it and the fact that its not like any other cream. like i said am yet to see someone complaining so khyre ayaan kuu rajaynaya. Most of the sisters gave you good advice so try what suits you best Insha'Allah Salaam

  15. I see many of these stories where i live, but i guess it doesn't always mean that the reason is sex before marriage, like Rudy said sometimes the mehir happens before the wedding and the couple are officially married which does'nt stop them from moving in together. Weddings are not compulsory its just dhaqan, just as long as they have a waliimah (Qado) and announce their mehir or marriage, that's all they got to do to move in together. Salaam

    Somali myths

I don't remember much at the moment but, i got to say that most somali parents somehow the myths they brought their kids upon are semi-Islamic correct.. For example, my mum used to tell us off when we were kids if we sleep in our rooms after we ate there and forgot our plate of left over that contained bones lying there! She used to tell us that its the Jinn's and shayaateens food! am not sure why mum personally used to say that but i think she used to say that just to teach us to clean our own mess! I have actually learnt that her warnings were correct and that indeed the Jinn's food is bones  so alxamdulilah am glade in away that what they claim sometimes is correct. Also one more thing that am not so sure about how correct it is, was if my mum ever caught us wearing our cloths upside down she'd yell out for us to change it otherwise qalbadiina ayaa qalibmanaysa (our hearts will turn) Salaam

    Weird Cravings

thank you Shenomad13 for sharing this information, by doing this you have solved one of my greatest mysteries lol I was severely anemic for few years and i got hooked up on "salt"... damn the remarks i used to get from my family, relatives and friends was pretty annoying! wax aan ahayn addict laygu ma waci jirin! my cousin used to announce to every house hold I enter that am a 'saltaholich'.. lol anyway, that just explains everything wait until I tell them to pay back for all those years of bugging me... they better be sorry i tell ya! Salaam
  19. thanks Athena for the warm welcome well am not going to argue much, at the end of the day its your personal choice, we have the facts so its either take it or leave it, I personally if am eating with my hands, after washing them I put my tawakul on Allah, say bismillah and "dive in" as you have refered to it ps'...... and oh, when am done I say alxamdulilah ! salaam..
  20. Introspective Sensitive Reflective You come to grips more frequently and thoroughly with yourself and your environment than do most people. You detest superficiality; you'd rather be alone than have to suffer through small talk. But your relationships with your friends are very strong, which gives you the inner tranquility and harmony that you require. You do not mind being alone for extended periods of time; you rarely become bored. _________________________________ Didnt work for me! ah well

To use a Spoon or Fork! Plus if some peoples concern is hygiene, the i suggest they look at what makes their hands unhygienic  salaam
