  1. Legend, how can I explain it without being R-rated? Imagine your ideal female body type and all the reasons for your preference, welll that's how I feel. Kooleey, you really should consider it. It's often overlooked and neglected but sis this fetish doesn't include dabo bajaq ah.
  2. ^Oh great moderator greetings, my intentions were clean squeeky clean man! Give me an opportunity to explain myself, I've been in front of a shidhy computer for the last 10 hrs (give or take an hr)causing me to behave recklessly. Normally, SOLer's do a decent job of entertaining me but I believe we each have an obligation to ocassionally carry our weight and contribute. PS. Zafir in fear of being reprimanded I can not continue to discuss the attributes of a perfect bum.
  3. ^Raage, tell us about it. I'm curious to hear if all the crazy stories I heard growing up are real. My mom's from there and either she comes from one loca family or it's in the water. My siblings and I often used it to excuse her volatile temperament. Honestly interested seeing it thru your eyes, feel free to share pics.
  4. Ahura, I'm trying to show Zafir the RIGHT way of picking-up/complimenting girls.
  5. [Q Your naked aggression has not gone unnoticed Looooooool, I'm not scared of you, teddy bear or should I say polar bear. By the way is that a Freudian slip I see?
  6. ^^Zafir refraining from taking a stand is a tactic often ployed by many men I know (incl the notorious atheer) called "YES DEAR". Hairless eh, your must look like my ultime favorite butt...Xixo from "The Gods Must Be Crazy". It's smooth, hairless, limber, toned and curvaceous. CW, I'm just happy to even read and write at a SSL level, alhamdullahi.
  7. Dear Urban, he's just threating you. Wuu kuu dhaaranayaa. Castro, wiilka hanjabaada kadaa qumayayahee.
  8. The usually deep red but ocassionally green curtains kills me. Ya'allah, I too am unconciously keeping up with the Joneses!! I have short red curtains (Ikea not somali mall) which compliments my green futon. I learnt my lesson, ppl in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.
  9. Lol boys I wouldn't hurt a single hair on your hairy buttocks. True slow wasn't a category, an oversight on my part I apologize. Zafir, you brought up a valid point I should add it considering the recent pick-up lines you've been using. Would you like to take an educated guess and place me in a category, if you dare? Castro help the boy! PS. If I may influence your selection Zafir I have no objections being placed in Bisharo's shadow. I so do admire the lady.
  10. Guess its g'bye to Kinder chocolate. OOOOOOOOOOOOH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not Kinder chocolate! I reward myself every day by buying two or three of their little round white chocolate balls. How is a sista to cope with long library hours with out her daily fix?!
  11. I have to admit initally I thought what's the hoopla all about just ignore the ignorant *******s but as I read more and saw how effectively the Muslim ummaah united I have changed my mind. My believe in general is don't give your enemies (personal or religious) the power of controlling your behavior but the more I read the more I understood the depth of the issue. In a way this might be a blessing in disguise. Afterall it made Muslim goverments, businesses and communties unite. Paragon, I agree they tried "demonizing" us and when that didn't ignite a response in us they took it to the next level. This is turning out to be a beautiful begining to the year. First the Hamas victory and now the Danish who next. Is this the beginning of a new page for Muslims? (IA) P.S. Brother Khayr I Katrina Faraax actually agreed with you I'm happy to report.
  12. ^Atheer whachya talkin about! Long time no chat Urban, how's your semester going bro? I find this site is composed of all kinds such as psyco's, phonys, extremists, followers, educators, instigators, historians, comedians, intellectuals, sweeties and lets not forget the obnoxious folks. I guess it's a representation of the general population. What is the obsession with Ngonge anywayz? I find his posts too long to read. Yep, I'm slow.
  13. Lol @ foxy, don't forget the disclaimer about no strings attached is in the eye of the beholder. Hands reaching across the seat divider in the darkness of the movie theater or returning the favor if he pays for dinner (via other ways ) etc. Proceed at your own risk ladies!! lol, sorry abdinuur couldn't help myself.
  14. How much time do you have? Are you sitting down? Angie Jolie is the ultimate Femme Fatale. The sultry look, the wealth, the independence, compassion, her psychopathic tendancies; I've had a longer crush on her (minus her sexual past) than male celebrities. I totally agree with you. I've had a crush on her forever and male celeb's don't come close to measuring up to her hotness. I've always thought she was untouchably hot! I admire all the things you mentioned about her but most of all her confidence and inability to submit to peer pressure.
  15. Happy Friday, Ladies thanks a lot for your input and offers, I'm currently registered on Mentornet to get some ideas while another person has already started the preliminary work of setting up a website. Insha'allah by this summer the administrative portion should be complete. I know you all have a full plate and won't ask you to assist in the administrative/web skills unless you have a desire. I'd then luv to recruit you positive souls (Bilan, ibtisam, idil and last but not least Blessed) as mentors by the summer (IA). If along the way you feel you come across something useful plz just PM me. Salaam
  16. But would it not make more sense for the youth in the Diaspora to join together and step out into the world as a unified force to bring about peace in their native country? How funny (Idil) I choose this part of the article before reading what you said...great minds think alike. Idil, I know I've seen many high school kids talk about qabil like it's cool or like your not one of us and use it define friendships based on what they hear at home. Today's youth are the mistakes of the generations of Somalis who ruined or stood silent while our country was demolished! Yes, I'm looking to all you who thought there is no harm in teaching a child to have pride aka arrogance in his qabil, excuse bad behavior, occasionally scold them coz y'all to busy (chewing, smoking, playing cards, womanizing, gossiping about politics) while your kids roam the streets like wild animals. How many of you believed in spending quality time with your kids before the civil war? Most of y'all come from a generation that believes kids should be seen but not heard well guess what they sure taught y'all. The kids in the diaspora are the ghosts of your past actions as a community/country here to haunt us all...fix it or live with it. Sharmarkee, you said we'll bear the consequence if we don't do something but guess what this is the consequence. These kids doing & selling drugs etc. You said a year ago no Somali kids where selling drugs and now there's at least 30. Doesn't that tell the Somali community in Bristol that they slept while their kids slowly strayed? Where were those parents doing when the tell-all signs were hitting 'em in the face? It took a year to occur and what intervention methods were taken? I agree with you only drastic actions might save those kids and if not the lost souls then the other kids. We underestimate the power of peer pressure! Heck, adults give in to it all the time just imagine what it does to kids. Until Bristol malis unite to protect their kids they will continue on a downward slope to nothing. Question to ponder, every community that migrated to the west has had their faith and way of life challenged, some survive while others crumbled. The indo-pak community has passed the test with flying colors. The key to their success is making education the nucleus of their family and community. This love or blind following for education isn't in their gene. It's something each parent and relatives force-fed it into their babies till it became second nature for them good kids, bad kids and rebellious kids breathe it like air. Ask yourself what has been and still is the nucleus of Somalis?????? There lies the answer and where change needs to start! All of you we're rebellious to different lengths in your youth except for the occasional annoying goody-goody two shoes who made me look bad. Yet how quickly we forget what been a teen is all about. Just coz you've seen the wisdom of religion or your erroneous ways doesn't mean you can't easily relate to kids today. How many of you call your little siblings, cousins, nephews&nieces and neighbours to shoot some hoops, shoot pool with their friends, take 'em to the movies and dinner, dessert and girl talk, know their friends (good and bad), speak their language, share your crazy teen stories (having to spend a night in jail with my friends as a teen coz the authorities wanted to teach us a lesson we'd never forget...I was traumatized for months afterwards, couldn't sleep or eat...sharing and laughing about one's mistakes makes kids relate to adults more. Trying to act like a saint and hide your heydays won't make them open up, trust you or tell you anything before you can change/stop them from doing something they'll regret. Oh, those of you who are preaching to kids all the time and it isn't working...chill out and try a different approach. Need to stop writing before I pop a vein!

  19. Is the Friendship overrrrrrrrr? Dear Khayr, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yes that friendship is over. Similar to Bishaaro and your friendship.
  20. Salaam, If you know Somali male/students (freshmen, sophmores & possibly juniors) in the areas of law, politics, business, academics, and the ministry. Please pass on to those interested in building their portfolio and networking. Great opportunity for African American males -- please share with others. The Institute for Responsible Citizenship is currently accepting applications for its summer program at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Each summer, twelve of the most promising young minority male sophomores in the country are given the chance to travel to the nations capital and engage in prestigious internships while taking rigorous classes at Georgetown. The courses in government and economics are designed to provide these young men with the skills necessary to critically analyze the worlds problems while adhering to a deep respect for civil liberties. When the students are not in class or at work, they are often called upon to attend social functions designed to help them network in their field. Personal meetings with such leaders as Barack Obama, John Lewis, and Clarence Thomas are made possible by the intimate nature of the program. The program runs from June 4 July 29 and is a two-summer commitment. Tuition and housing are paid for by the Institute, while students are expected to pay for their transportation and food. In addition, those not placed in paid internships will receive a stipend in the amount of $2500. While there are no major requirements, the program focuses on attracting young men interested in the fields of law, politics, business, academics, and the ministry. You should be a sophomore to apply, however, juniors are considered if they are committed to attending graduate or professional school directly following their senior year. More information, along with the application, can be found on the web at http://www.i4rc.org. The application deadline is February 1, 2006. Adam L. 21. Paul Mooney's stand-up act is belly hurting funny!
  22. Round and round the retarded thread goes on. Very true, I thought this thread would be lucky to get several responses only to have y'all blow my mind with 4 pages! I guess you guys showed me. Rowda leave logic out of this after all we're somalis!!! P.S. I do admit to having moments doubting the depth of a man's love. I quickly come to my senses, ofcourse they do love. The catch is ladies their love is as deep as a puddle.
  23. Bilan honestly thought of it the same night I posted the topic while procrastinating other assignments. You know how it goes. Those are the moments one has their greatest ideas. The intent was to put the idea out there for someone to roll with it since I have a super busy next few months but I realized we (Somalis) have great ideas all the time but only a few of us really do the time consuming work needed to make great ideas into end results. A friend and I have been sitting on a different idea for (the youth) a while waiting for our schedules to clear but this (e-mentoring) is a much better goal. If for no other reason than today's youth being an internet generation. It's funny Bilan but I think it would be harder to find willing graduates to participate than high school students. Somali grads today are so negative and self-involved. Most like to believe they accomplished something amazing by graduating (come on now we all know ppl like that ), busy being ambitious with no time to give back except a lot of empty talk, wife/husband hunting here and back in the motherland then moving to the burbs to have 4.8 kids. or believe they've heard all this talk before (during college yrs) and it is a waste of time etc. See where I'm going with this? For example, I heard a lot of SOL'ers ranted and raved about the Tsunami effect on Somalia but when it came to collecting money what happened? About finding Somali youth, I think everything starts small and the word will spread. I can think of at least one Somali infested city that would be a great place to launch e-mentoring. Before embarking on any project the number one thing do to is RESEARCH and ladies that’s exactly what will be done in the next few months, insha'allah. Lol, ibtisam I know most of our freshmen and sophomores start heading to the bars at 6ish most of the week. Idil looking forward to hearing your comments. SB (shaking head) of course you'll get paid in headaches, chaos, frustration, blame shifting and those are on the good days, occasionally you might get an e-hug, imagine that.
