Is there any other way to sit thru 9 hrs of anything? I was considering the Lord of the rings trilogy but I figured the special effects were too over the top....same thing with Matrix Trilogy. For my next vacation I'm looking into the batman trilogy.

    gues the movie

Guess the movie: V: Want some bacon? J: No man, I don't eat pork. V: Are you Jewish? J: Nah, I ain't Jewish, I just don't dig on swine, that's all. V: Why not? J: Pigs are filthy animals. I don't eat filthy animals. V: Bacon tastes gooood. Pork chops taste gooood. J: Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy mother******. Pigs sleep and root in shit. That's a filthy animal. I ain't eat nothin' that ain't got sense enough to disregard its own feces. V: How about a dog? Dogs eats its own feces. J: I don't eat dog either. V: Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? J: I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way. V: Ah, so by that rationale, if a pig had a better personality, he would cease to be a filthy animal. Is that true? J: Well we'd have to be talkin' about one charming mother****in' pig. I mean he'd have to be ten times more charmin' than that Arnold on Green Acres, you know what I'm sayin'?
  6. I'm Looking at Mombasa. Mainly for the schools and health care.

  9. AB, I'm well. This is the death throes of winter 2013. Nothing but warm days ahead. I really and truly despise winter. I think I should move to a more tropical environment

  11. So the forum is an outlet, as it were, for airing out fantasies of an alternate existence? on the same token, however, I hope you can appreciate that there are those who would use this outlet to critique. In other words when an alter ego steps out of bounds, it needs to be checked. Wouldn't you agree? Thanks, UD.
  12. Its part of the process required to determine whether you're truly insane or if it's all just an act. Say something else.

How have you established this? not clear at all. where's the proof? Ngonge has pointed out clear similarities in your writing styles. I'm inclined to, at the very least, considered that he might be correct. (the fact that I already thought you needed institutionalization doesn't help) 2. we know NG is a wind-up merchant, but that you fell for his bait, is testament to your wet-behind-the-ears eagerness to please. inaar, ignore this playground rumour-monger. If Wadani is indeed a different person, he's on the right track trying to clear his name. I can imagine how insulted he feels at being linked to a known lunatic 3. there is absolutely no need to insult me or to hurl crude, unfounded comments, in Al's directions, regarding his proficiency and indeed command of afka hooyo. LOL, you started of well on this point and about midway you wandered of to referring to yourself in the third person....Underdog caught that!
  14. Alpha Blondy;928602 wrote: wadani, i reckon you should have the honour of providing a psychological explanation inaar.... You realize that if Ngonge is right, you just assigned yourself a task in the third person. I heard somewhere its ok to tell yourself jokes, but you should be worried when you laugh at them.

  18. LOL...thank you. I didn't claim it to be mine. I said "here are some symptoms that may apply:" but you must admit the symptoms fit, yes? And good for you, chasing that down like that. 20. Alpha Blondy;928086 wrote: expand on this 'weakness' and what it could potentially mean for me in the future inaar.....also suggest how to overcome them? First you should find a way to be content with yourself. You seem to have a habit of seeking out the approval of others and then shunning them when they don't give it. If you were comfortable with your own opinions you wouldn't feel the need to constantly push them. Your need to be heard and quoted is only surpassed by your lack of original thought. Then there's the whole "attention seeking" thing, here are some symptoms that may apply: If as a child, the person did not receive much attention from his parents or his peers then he may grow up feeling neglected. Those feelings will then be the main drive behind the person's attention seeking behavior. Abusive parents and parents who are always absent usually make their children feel that they are overlooked and so the child may grow up becoming an attention seeking adult. Sometimes adults seek attention because of jealousy. When someone finds himself threatened by another person who takes all the attention he is supposed to get he may respond with attention seeking behavior. Lack of self worth can be another cause for attention seeking behavior. Some people think that they are overlooked and so they think that the only solution to restore their balance is to bring back the lost attention. The attention they will get in this case will provide them with reassurance and will help them think that they are worthy. Arrogant & overconfident people may seek attention because they have the feeling that they deserve to be in the center of attention. Because they aren’t mature enough they still think with their inner child’s mentality which makes them believe that they are the center of the world. Usually the child thinks that he is the center of the universe around which all other objects revolve. If the child’s way of thinking didn’t mature he will grow up thinking that he is the center of the world and so he will be an attention seeking adult. Narcissists are also attention seekers. They consider this attention a good source of narcissistic supply and so they strive to get it. If you ignored a narcissist he will definitely hate you especially if he was hoping to get some attention from you. P.S. I going to donate this thread to an open discussion on how all the members of SOL can help you overcome these issues and maybe not end up depressed and alone with thoughts of just ending it all
