  1. Ms, you may have a great deal of energy, but I cant think about staying online when married, although bad habits may never die.
  2. It is a kind of still-looking-ppl gathering, although married folks are allowed to be a distance observers
  3. I dont see how a working, married individual can get time for online activities, if the marriage is functioning well.
  4. would you be interested to volunteer, Aaliyah?
  5. I do volunteer to be the first client, althought an other person from the opposite side will give the project a fantastic kick start.
  6. me, sxb that kind of service is desperatly needed, bearing in mind the average educated Faaraxs & Xaliimos in the Qurbaha marry in their late 20s probably by their cousins as they hear the alarm bells. A kind of service which might bring them together in their mid 20s is nothing less than a brilliant idea.
  7. Give the guys some credit, they atleas showed some character by scoring points in civilised manner.
  8. Sheekha baangadii gacan goyska ma iska dhigay weli?
  9. The problem lays with the ppl who are organising those projects have'nt got a clue what University is and its demands. When ever I see these projects I remember the meaning of Hadith when our Prophet SCW asked by Jibril dressed as a man, the signs of the Qiyama, one of those signs was : "That you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." So, if we dont have enough secondary schools why not build UNI.
  10. Capitalism is taking a firm stand in our beloved country. The drivers of this change are networks of calculating shrewd individuals in diaspora and their agents back home. The only thing that general public left with is, singing praise about those networks and how they are developing the country by building a beautiful hotels, villas and dont forget the private schools, universities and hospitals those are only avoidable by their close associates. So, enjoy the pradise if you are fortunate enough, where the vast majority tast the brutal reality of life in our country.
  11. Jacylbaro, sxb nothing wrong with taking a part these projects. Building and running University is a very expensive business interms of human and financial resources, that why after all developing countries has only view universities. The point Im making here is, lets use our scarce resources in an effective way by concentrating on areas where a difference can be made. If for instance, a town like Bardhere with probably 20000 school age kids have only two or three functioning schools. Then its madness to think about university instead of building more schools and technical institutes if necessary. Think big at the sametime be realistic, thats our weak point after all.
  12. If you can write the cheques like Yankees & supply Qamadi to the ill feeded Ethiopian bafoons, you are the king of the Jungle and overwrite all their misplaced orders. Long live the the filthy Yankee.
  13. The University racing competition is heatining up. If any town some how couldnt organise its unique, well designed AutoCad University and mobilize their Qurbajoog fundrising skills they should “put the shirt on backwards” aka karti maleh reerhebal. ppl asked why not build elementary, intermediate or secondary schools in a country where according to Unicef 80% of the school age kids are out of the schools? The answer is simple, this is a class based projects where the only 20% forturnate who can recieve regular remmitences can afford schools and then, why not build universities for them? The whole idea is based on class, the parents of the school going kids contact their kinsmen to contribute more money to build UNIs for them. Who cares the fast majority who might never recieved a penny from abroad and struggling too feed their children rather than sending them a $20 fee charging schools built by the patriotic diaspora for the ones who can afford (aka their kinship). The whole business of building Universities is doomed to a failure, where there is not a solid foundation. And reiterates how somalis practice class in every occasion despite denying it. God help the poor somali kids who cannot afford to go elementary schools.
  14. A breath taking views indeed, although, Libaax's AK47 flashing Faaraxis signature blocked some of the beauty.
