Shisha smoke not as harmful as previously thought

Never smoked that thing, never intend to. Rather would chew jaad than it.

 

On past weekend, I and several friends were looking a convenience store that was open. It was around 11 pm. We happened to pass this joint that last time some we knew to be a Soomaali restaurant. A lot of cars were at its parking, some with out of country American plates. We were surprised since the old restaurant wasn't known to be that popular, thinking it was still operating. One of the guys said, "You guys need to see inside."

 

When asked what is the big deal. Just told us to go inside and see it ourselves.

 

I and another one couldn't hold the curiosity and got off the car. They renovated and made it a nondescript place, taking out the old Soomaali restaurant sign, but not putting any sign that identifies it in place yet. We went inside.

 

Waaw, waaaw and waaaaw. Smoky, dark, laba laba la iskula fadhiyo, of both genders of every age imaginable, smoking that thing called shiisha. Ar maxaa la dalacay oo laa baashaaloyaa.

 

The guy was like on some nights even a belly dancer comes around. I don't believe it, but if it is true, double ayaa la dalacay.

I told you to convince one of the SL places to open a Shiisha joint but you didn't listen. Waxan Tornto iyo London shiisha ka wada cabaya ayaa meesha booxin laha.

 

I have not had shiisha for a while (for reasons known to JB). I may just give my old place a visit this weekend.
