nuune Posted November 21, 2013 At least one person has reportedly to have been killed and more than others were wounded after landmine explosion turn on and went air on Wednesday in Burao town, the provincial capital of Togdher region in Somaliland. Police commissioner of Togdher region, Col. Hassan Ahmed Abdirahman told to reporters that the explosion was caused by a landmine adding that there are some other undetected landmines in the town. He called on the demining agencies in Somaliland to tackle the landmine issue in the region which has claimed the lives of several people in recent months.
