CIA Admits It Was Behind Iran's Coup

Recommended Posts

Sixty years ago this Monday, on August 19, 1953, modern Iranian history took a critical turn when a U.S.- and British-backed coup overthrew the country's prime minister, Mohammed Mossadegh. Khadafi

No wonder why Iranians are so hostile to the US-foregin policy in the middle east. What would americans feel if they got know that Iranian agents in Washington were plotting to overthrow Obama.

Same thing with Allende government in Chile, they overthrew a democratic elected socialist government.

I think its the other way round, Iranians are the most western pro western people in the M.E. The decision to overthrow Allende was vindicated by chile's extraordinary economic growth, it could've been a Latin American basket case ala Venezuela.

No, I don't. It's the richer secular minority that are pro-western. You can identify them by their skinny jeans and fake blonde hair. Many of them left the country and settled in places like LA, London etc.
