Now explain this one. geel dhalay seems unlikely?

Rag bey geel dhalay u tahay = She is the wealth of the family

Most Somalis consider Geel as wealth, and geel dhalay means even more wealth. Hadaba gabadha quruxda badan ee dabeecada wanaagsan reerkeeda (to her mom and dad) waxay ku soo kordhin kartaa more Geel, that is if her future husband is a wealthy man, ama nin geesi ah oo bulshada magac weyn ku leh. So the old folks believed that every girl that is not married yet to be the ticket to the good life.....:o:o

Now I get it. :D

Some geeljires always take camel and goat as examples. I wonder if they rather take example from Xaawo iyo Aden or do it the camel way. :D

^It looks more than fun :). I honestly think somalis need to establish classes where they teach ppl somali cultural dances. That would be much needed (especially by moi since I dont know anything abt dhaanto or saylici or any other somali dance for that matter lol)
