Europe is getting ready for mending fences with Muslim world, and when that happens, there will be many opportunities to reach and teach Islam to Non Muslims, its a God send opportunity, not only did it took the pressure off from Islamic Dawa workers, but also it exposed the deep rooted hatred of some Non Muslims toward our faith and our faithful, which will put the pressure on them instead to behave in a civilized way, after all they boast to be the guardians of civilized behaviour.

 

The current cultural conflict must not be seen as US vs THEM, Islam transcends nationalism , colors and geographies, remember that by default, every underage child regardless of their parents faith, is a Muslim according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAWS, therefore, let us behave with wisdom, being reactive is a sure way to make errors in judgements, what we need today is cool heads with which to look past the dark cloud of hatred hovering over our heads.

 

I see a great opportunity for Islam in Europe and North America today, more than ever, what we need is to leverage the current good will overtures by those who made mistake ( economic aftermath) by showing that forgiveness is a cornerstone in our faith, Forgiveness does not only reduce tenisons, but also it transforms enemies to friends, I know, that some people on both sides love the tension for special personal gains, but for the majority of silent Muslims, the choice is to reach out with goodwill and forgiveness once they officially apologise in kind.

 

Against this baseline, we can measure future islamic work to see how much did the good will created for the advancement of islam as a faith in Europe and the world.

 

Now, after all is said and done, where does the Islamic movement go from here?

 

 

e-Nuri sees new dimensions toward a brilliant Dawa ( Preaching) work.

 

The future of the Dawa work will be heavily dependent on how we reach and teach the masses, the laymen, housewives, kids, the community and the poor. Most Islamic revival movements failed big when they became ellitest groups talking on fancy terms without any effort on the grounds where their efforts was baly needed.

Words of Advice Regarding Da`wah

 

We must confront the intellectual onslaught represented in the radio, books, newspapers, magazines and writings which the Muslim communities in our present time have been afflicted with. The Muslim male and female spend most of their time with such, despite the fact that they contain deadly poison and misleading propagation most of the time. Therefore confronting this is a very important issue if we want to protect Islaam and the Islamic culture from its conspiracies and evil.

 

The da`ees and the defenders of Islaam must devote their time in writing beneficial researches, articles, periodicals and give da`wah. They should respond to different types of cultural attack and expose its defects and clarify its falseness. The enemies have gathered now and are preparing all their efforts and abilities to establish different organizations and various ways to scheme and plot against the Muslims and deceive them.

 

Therefore we must counter attack these enemies. We must refute and disapprove of their networks, expose them, and present Islaam as a faith, belief, legal system and a social and moral system. This should be done in a way that will make the people learn it, through good methods suitable for the age, and with wisdom and good admonition, arguing in a way that is best. We should use all the methods of the media, according to the resources available and our ability.

 

The deen of Islaam is a complete deen, which contains all good. It is the source of happiness for all mankind, and helps us in achieving righteous prosperity, sound progression, security, tranquillity and a noble life and victory in this life and in the Hereafter.

I can only attempt to answer 3 of the questions, i'll try my best shot...!!

 

First of all, there are many ways we can try to reach out target audience for Da'wah, all we need to do is be creative and interesting...!! We usually tend to think of only non-Muslims for Da'wah projects, but what about non practicing Muslims...!! As more and more people are surfing the net, maybe we should make sure authentic website address are floating around..!! When ever we are in charge of an event or a gathering, maybe burning CD's that contain Qur'an or lectures can be distributed to the guests....flyers can also do the same thing, but most people will throw away a peice of paper but value a CD...!!

 

The priorities at any given time should be TAWHEED....!! (((Verily, the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) taught his Companions to begin their call to the people with tawheed, so he said to Mu'aadh ibn Jabal, when he (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) sent him to Yemen: "You are going to a people who are People of the Scripture, so let the first thing you call them to, be the testification that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah." And in another narration: "...that they worship Allaah alone." [bukhari and Muslim])))

 

I dont know much about the failures and success of Islamic Revivals, but i do know that the only time we will have successfuly conveyed the message is when we completely follow the Qur'an And Sunnah and stay away from innovations...!!

Thanks for your contributions and points of view, b4 we sail these rough waters of establishing a mechanism to build on the present achievements of the Islamic outreach efforts to preach Islam to the western world, its important that we do not become reactive to current events like oxygen, instead we need to be as inert as Nitrogen, we should only take part in the building process, no matter how tempting it is to take revenge, revenge simply plays right into the hands of those who are seeking the containment of Islam's march to liberate the western mind from age old hallucination with carnal desires, and uplifting them to the high ground of the spiritual domain, and I firmly believe that with patience, that we will succeed in winning the west over for Islam, if we are sincere, kind and respectful as Allah SWT instructed us in Quraan : And have a dialogue with them ( People of the Book,) using the best of arguments (most respectful)"

 

Islams ideological adversaries are keen in dragging Muslims to confrontation and violence, and some naive Muslims fall for that gimmick many times, the tructh of the matter is , that if only reasoning is the battle ground, that islam will come out the winner in this conflict dubbed "conflict of civilizations"

 

The West is at a turning point, it feels threatened as it is about to loose its dominance that lasted for the past 400 years, the Asians are rising with an economic power that may tilt the tables toward the east, and with that economic power reversal, there will follow repurcussions on the resources and markets, mainly Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

 

Thus, the west has a window of opportunity to find an unlikely source of moral stregth which it lacks at present, to preserve its perceived dominance, and at eNuri, we suggest Islam, repackaged for a new era in Europe and beyound, a Muslim Europe will be a great news, very mature in civility, Islam can be the crystal ball of all of Europes woes, and for the entire globe for that matter.

 

The big question is, how can we look past present short sighted regional conflicts driven by greedy appetite of controlling material resources of the world in order to reach out for a new western generation thirsty for a moral solution for its insatiable material craving?

Beleive this information will be beneficial in this topic. There is an online program which trains Muslims on how to become daais and know their religion. A challenge I beleive any nomad can take.

I posted this topic after the famous case of defamation of Prophet Mohammad SAWS in Europe. However, tolerance and a cool head remain to be the only option if we are seeking the best results for the Islamic cause in a time Satan is unleashing all of his Soldiers on foot, horses, tanks, planes , ships, music and media, to protect his sizable stake and share in their wealth and lives.

 

Our Job is to win people back, regardless of their culture and races for Allah, in that regard, its advisable that we rise above the taunting temporal material driven conflict between Islam and those bent on denying their maker which created the current harsh agression on Muslims all over the world. Let the darkness of the evil around us NOT make us blind to where must go at the end, Heaven, our main priorities are to save our souls and those of our adversaries from Hell fire, not neccessarily to take revenge.
