tell me how to share files....when NETBIOS is activated...and port 139 is open...

 

there are few ways...

telnet

or on START>>>>RUN>>>

 

im lame on both....

 

say i have the I.P

and port is open...

To share files between Windows 9x OS's just add the Microsoft File and Print Sharing service to your Networking settings and share any files you like by going to the properties and setting it for sharing. Make sure you set good hard passwords and do not bind Windows Networking to the same NIC or modem that you use for the Internet if you have cable modem or DSL.

Hi Brothas, i also got some problem sharing music wid otha computers on my network.

 

i set da music folder 2 allow sharing, then when i get 2 da otha computer i can't get my music. :confused:

 

anyone got some info pse holla back.
