You did not comment on Cade's meeting with Asmara group, I wonder what is the difference between Cade and TFG? Yey is in Villa Somalia in Mogadishu.

Before you get mad at the glary here, you must understand Cadde’s position in Somali politics. Cadde is nothing more than a placeholder for the old man (Yey). Perhaps he purposefully orchestrated that perception to take hold to deflect public anger at his performance. Or perhaps that is sadly the true nature of his political position. But either way, for those who are in the know of Somali politics fully realize that to be the relationship.

What do you mean placeholder? So if what you say is true which I do not accept, the question still stands why the Asmara has to meet with Cade but no the TFG.

^^Cadde, being the political puppet he obviously is, may be representing Yey’s tfg in his meetings with Geelle of Jabbuuti! The other thing is opposition groups may find politically expedient to meet with Cadde than a portfolio holding official from the tfg…

 

Aside from Cadde’s apparent incompetence, I think him serving in that capacity is not bad at all.

Not only do they meet, I think Sharif Ahmed would find a nice refuge in Bossaso, he has run away from Asmara and is welcome in Puntland.
