Did ICU do damage to the title Shiek?

Recommended Posts

When children play in some parts of ethiopia, and one of them has told something untrue, the other kids "cruely" tell him the following:

"You will not be called Shiek if you live to be a hundred year old"

In most cases the child is reduced to tears.

Considering the too many to count Fartaag incidents of the ICU shieks, do you think ICU has damaged the confidence people have when they in their villages or towns give the title shiek?

How do you say that in your own language?

Yahadig,

It seems you have poor understanding of the term Sheikh.

Sheikh is like a title.

Sheikh ul is slam means the leader of the Faithfuls

while Sheikhul balad is the cheif or adminstrator.

It doesn't make any difference. Shiek in all cases is the village or town folks confidence in an Individual.

If a Shiek tells a lie he breaks that trust and confidence. exactly what ICU did.

^^ What lies are you speaking off?

The sheiks predicted that amhara wants nothing more than to occupie our land and to terrorize our people and that is exactly what happened.

Somali foe, i suggest you milk this temporary insanity by some of our(somalian) people as it will not last.

Sooner or later Somalis (including coward TFG) will wake up and smell the coffee and they will chase you untill you reach addis and sign away Og@denia in the process.

How many times has Meles broken the trust of Tigray?

How many Tigray Generals/Colonels has he killed only due to the fact that they opposed Eirtrean invasion?

Meles himself is not popular among his kins let alone in Ethiopia.

But there is one fact you cannot deny, even while you say untruth knowingly.

Meles is most popular in Jijiga (the capital of Somali state), probably more than in Mekelle (the capital of Tigray state).

And now Meles will be even more popular in Jijiga, for helping the TFG defeat Aweye, probably the most disliked man in Somali state, ethiopia.

Do you have any facts to back up this claim?

Puja,

What kind do you want?

There are 3-4 threads here on SOL which are direct quotes from Shieks, Media, Sheria court officials, Ordinary citizens.

Do you want me to link them all here on this thread or you search Jijiga for topics?

Why do you like to play childrens games here when people are in anguish over the future of their areas in Somalia?

This is the same situation we ethiopians had in 1991.

Amharic is the official language of the federation

Somali is the state language of somali stste

Tigrigna is state language of Tigray

Amharic is also state language of Amara state

What is your point?

Angush over what?

You thugs have oppressed my people for the past 15 yrs.

installed puppet Somali govt

Embezelled funds for developing the region

Sent my people to a worthless war in Badme

reduced my land to a military outpost.

Terrorised my folks and excersised public exections of inncoent people.

Your soilders rape our children and women.

your unpaid soilders confisicate livestock and loot their property having the fact that they are marginalised.

So tell me whats the difference between Meles and the Devil

Go fight for Eritrea. They have 1000km border to Ethiopia. They do not allow a mosquito or fly to cross the border. They know what comes.

The Somali went to fight Eritreans, because thats the price of living in Federation. Suport each other when foreign invasion comes to take your common land, but everyone manage their affairs at home.

Are you denying that all of WSLF resolutions of 1984 have not been fully implemented?

There is always going to be some group that is not happy, but we need to learn new culture. Do what you want peacefully.

You have seen how an opposition party leader in the ethiopian parliament accused Meles of being pro Somali. Find me a single example of that kind of debate anywhere in black africa?
