The Puntland Government led by President Cade Muse will release an offical statement and hold a press conference with the TFG President Abdullahi Yusuf regarding their stand on the Djibouti agreement.

 

Make no mistake about it Abdullahi Yusuf has the support of the whole state!

Puntland is no more part of the Somali republic and it's a clan fiefdom of one clan, for the one clan by the one clan - that is the surprise Somalipride is telling us. Puntland was made as a safe haven for those that lost everything in Xamar whether it was in 1991 or present. Many had to take boats in order to get to Puntland because the trip by land was too dangerous as thousands of killers were waiting to wipe out innocent people.

Somalis in Puntland are wise and know that declaring yourself independant is pointless because no one will recognize you. That's why Puntland has always said it is still part of Somalia. I "believe" Puntland is basically saying that if you reject our leader that won fair and square, we will reject yours.

 

Expect those in Djibouti to take this annoucement seriously and that Abdullahi Yusuf and Cade Muse will be arriving in Djibouti. I don't think it's personal, strictly political maneuvering.

Well political maneuvering is not bad but at what price? And what is the logic here? are we factions? sub-clans? who is sharing power with who? is everything on the line because one warlord traitor was outsmarted by another traitor or Ethiopian pawn? These Somali buffoons are recycling old stooge-mentality and using their sub-clans to hold on to non-existent power. Who in Somalia really is the power? Ethiopian tanks? warlord militias? or terror groups? and what that power is used for? to destroy the country, fragment it into fiefdoms, and kill its people, displace them? that is a huge price to pay. maybe we should ask for another trusteeship - this time maybe we could at least produce different leaders and politicians with college education.
