Somaliland: President Abdirahman Irro Arrives in Ethiopia on Official State Visit

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro), accompanied by a distinguished delegation, has arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, on an official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, His Excellency the President and his delegation were graciously received by H.E. Gedion Timotheos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, together with senior officials of the Ethiopian government.

The welcoming ceremony accorded to President Irro was marked by high-level protocol and warm hospitality, reflecting the close and historic ties between the two nations.

Following a brief rest at the VIP lounge of Bole International Airport, the President and his delegation proceeded to their official residence in Addis Ababa, where they will continue their engagements during the visit.
