Soomaali Xabashi kama adkaan, but dhabarjabinta Ruushka iyo xirtiisa shuuciga. Plus the betrayal of Jimmy Carter, the Christian religious who secretly sided with his fellow Christian Xabashi, albeit being communist regime.

War is fought at three fronts: a) Battle on the battlefields, b) Politics in corridors of power, and c) Diplomacy in foreign capitals.

Of the three, we excelled in (a), but lost (b) & (c); is that a win? Did either of you read Erich Honecker's & Fidel Castro's memoirs about reconciliation of the Ethiopia-Somalia conflict?

I agree with you

How many times have you recently heard, that  Ukraine or even Russia run out of ammunition? in this current conflict? Imagine going to war, with all your arsenal made in USSR? and you are against USSR? does not make any sense, I  am not military man, but even IF US/West supported, it would not make sense as it takes years to change gear.

That is why all Nato countries use same ammunition, standardised, same cartridges even different machine guns share same cartridges,  include different cartridge for Nato AK, than Russian based AK47

same way Israeli modified AK47   Galil to use western cartridges.

SIyad knew , but so much hubris, isla wayni, dictatorship!

afweyne made a mistake the somali army should have never invaded the somali kilil alll he had to do was provide wslf with arms amunition and aid and logistics and let them doing the fighting , after the collapse  of mengistu all they had to do was declare independence from ethiopia. Instead of  letting the somali army go in , somali republic was seeing as agressors  in this war. because they violated ethiopia.
