Yasmine thanks sis. You are wright that they have adupted some culture basic things from us. It was known that before the egypts came to somalia, they practiced this. Somalians didn't know this female circumcision practice. I have read a book so much alike us what zillic has posted. I will post some key notes when I get some time. But sis I know 100% that female circumcision practice, is something that we have adupted from egypt.

iam glad inaan wax fahanay, better late than never, though next 20 yrs we will still suffer from this practice.

 

we must forgive our mothers or families for putting us through, now pple are better informed and this practice is disappearing,,,,,,,thnx allah

Accordingly, she introduced a strict code of precautionary dos and don'ts for women, including the infamous injunction that they were always to say NO when they actually meant YES, and YES when they meant NO.
