Puntland to Convene a Mediation Conference Over Iskushuban Clashes

Garowe (PP News Desk) — Puntland Government will organise a meeting for two subclans whose militias clashed near Iskushuban one week ago.

Puntland Ministry for Security has sent a letter to the notables of the two subclans and urged them to comply with the preliminary agreement reached following meetings facilitated by Puntland Government.

The Security Ministry appointed Bari Deputy Governor Ahmed Mohamud Ahmed to organise the mediation conference slated to take place on 1 February 2021.
