Suldaanka Posted June 4, 2020 Somaliland's central bank is now reduced to just being a policy setting bank. They no longer have control of the Somaliland currency. The hard cash is now accounting a very small portion of the total in circulation. And this will only get smaller. Somaliland Central Bank is catching up and wants to technologically be on-par with the two conglomerates Telesom Group and Dabashil Group. The bank will be assuming the roll of a clearing house where all the banks will interconnect and credit between the banks will be balanced at the end of the day.
