Exposed - The Sun's anti-Muslim story nothing but a Hoax!

Last week The Sun published a highly sensationalist article claiming that "Islamic Extremists" were going to target prominent Jewish people in Britain.

Turns out this was a big fat lie! The Sun has pulled the story from the online archive. But they should still be held to account and reported to the Press Complaints Commission. So those of you not working on the Gaza campaign, you can do this. This article was reprinted on all the newspapers following the "sun's discovery" so it was not somthing small.

Rupert Murdoch's 'The Sun' Newspaper has set new standards, if it was at all possible, for Irresponsible Journalism.

A recent front page news story featured a warning that prominent members of the British Jewish Community including Sir Alan Sugar were on a hit list for 'hate filled Islamic extremists' as an act of retribution for Israel's offensive on Gaza.

Bloggerheads has done an absolutely fantastic piece in which they have exposed The Sun "article" as a complete Sham!

The Sun claimed that members of an online forum on Ummah.com were planning a murderous campaign. Someone by the username of 'abuislam' was highlighted as being the main instigator on the fourm. The Sun's story (literally) was provided "expert" input by Glen Jenvey a self-proclaimed 'freelance terrorism expert'.

It now turns out that all threatening and violent posts on Ummah.com were made by 'abuislam' and that 'abuislam' and Glen Jenvey are actually the same person!

The whole basis for the sensationalist Sun story were the comments that Glenn Jenvey himself had planted on the forum.

The Sun has pulled the story from its online archive but the text of the original article can still be read on the Engage website for those who missed it.

Engage are also encouraging people to write to the Press Complaints Commission and also to write to The Sun to see what it has to say for itself?
