Asalaama calaykum Nomads & Aliens .

Scientist say its only a matter of time, before human cloning is a reality for anyone with enough cash, willing to take the risk of a hideously malformed or emotionally damaged child.

What you think about human cloning ?

I didn´t know that you had a long discussion about this Topic last year so let me tell u why iam against cloning:

1. Huge risks of mutations.

2.Risk of abuse of the Technology for example making spare parts in the future for rich people.

3.Emotional risks-child grows up knowing her mother is her sister.Everytime her mother looks at her she is seeing herself growing up.

Inkasta oo quraanka ay ku qoran tahay "CALAMAL INSAANA MAA LAMYACLAM" hadana this people are going too far.

So insha allaah this will not happen in the comming future.

Kheyr baan isku ognahay.

Hi lambada

Clowning? it is tricky one..I just watch about 2weeks ago this FILM who one mad-scientist keep cloning as many kids as he can to get RICHer!

It was this poor mother who happened to have only one KID, have lost her kid after he was drowned in the Sea. Then few months later..while she was still greiving her lost Kid.. she saw (her kid)playing football with other kids..she just run to him keep calling his name> The kid who ofcourse look surprised and confused didn,t regocnised this women neither the name she is yelling at. so he simply said I am not who u think I am so pls leave me alone..the kid run away from her. cuz ofcourse he was not her kid..infact he was a (clone-kid)cloned by her Son without her knowlage.

The poor mother was heart-broken all over again..she did believed that her kid is still a live... Imagine? she drive every one crzy untill last minute when she get the bottom of the issue..and found out what was going on...So would You say it was fair that poor MUM to go all that pain? It really make me cry so much it was so emotional- it WAS not FAIR to HER.

On the other hand-

I have heard all those stories which is..Cloning can help many disable ppl and may ellminate many diseases in the future if they allowed to clone body parts! but really is it gona be gruantee? how much you can trust them? that they will act on the legal policies? no way.

My opinion of this issue is- NO to Clowning..cuz I do believe clowning is one medical precedure that can bring more confusion than benefits...It could give so much power those Power hungry mad-scientist..who trying to play God.

It could bring more misuses and abuses if it become Legal just like Euthanasia, not to mention what Islam says about clowining...so NO

Here is some conclusions what Islam feels about cloning.

I. All cases introducing third parties into a marriage, whether a womb, an egg, a sperm or a cloning cell are not permissible.

II. Ordinary human cloning, in which the nucleus of a living somatic cell from an individual is placed into the cytoplasm ofan egg devoid of its nucleus, is not to be permitted. If exceptional cases emerge in the future, they should be considered to verify compliance with the Shari'ah.

III .All Muslim countries are called upon to formulate the necessary legislation to prevent foreign research institutes, organisations and experts from directly or in directly using Muslim countries for experimentation on human cloning or promoting it.

IV. The Islamic Organisation for Medical Sciences and other similar bodies are called upon to monitor all scientific developments in the field of cloning and define its terminology and organise seminars and meetings, as required, to determine and articulate the Islamic rulings and principles pertaining thereto.

V. Specialised committees should be set up to look into the ethics of biological research and adopt protocols for study and research in Muslim countries, and prepare a document on foetal rights as a prelude to formulate legislation on the rights of the foetus

To tell you the truth, it is wrong. They're messing around with God's work. but dont you think cloning organs can saves lives, But just think how many people or animals they could kill just trying to get one human or sheep. Didn't they say that it took over 277 sheep to get Dolly. Dolly already has arthritis at five years old. That is really sad. I hope that they don't get too far into this before something bad happens.

Interesting topic first of all. Human cloning in my personal opinion takes away the uniqueness of people. And I don't understand why many people would really want a carbon copy of themselves, beside that sense of immortality. What interests me in regards to this topic are the questions about how the cloned species turn out to be? I mean clone could ultimately be used to settle the debate between "nurture and nature" because if for example, a person is cloned, would cloned human exactly turn out to be the same even if original and cloned lived and were raised in different environments? Are clone really like the original persons in every aspect or just in looks and genetic make-up? How those new species would handle diseases, and are the susceptible to genetic diseases as were the originals or mutation occurs in them which changes their immune system?

Contemplating and even now embarking on such a magnitude human evolution process is impossible without thinking and re-thinking of the catastrophic results. We as human race are not like dolly the sheep, therefore I personally believe that such research in attempting to make “semi-human” should be banned not because they are morally wrong but they are logically wrong.

i think cloning can be useful for furthering research in the medical field, but cloning people is completly ridiculous. if you want a duplicate of yrself than have a baby, plus if yr that self-involved to begin with, maybe we should extract you from the gene pool altogether.
