  1. Anwar firstly u need to prove it is las canood, secondly you need to prove they weren't paid to do it.. Sxb somaliland is like shabab its temporary u cant go anywhere without recognition u will be stuck. But federalism has internationa recognition. We will be around till the end, where-as ur poliical position is temporary and un-supported inside somalia and outside of it. Besides anyone with half a brain knows ethiopia runs hargeysa not snm. And ethiopia puppet is rayale. We know once the south is defeated, ethiopia will force rayale to sign the federal charter and if he dont tigray soldiers are coming to hargeysa. Sxb u can yell somaliland all you want, from the roof top, in the street, in the toilet even but the fact ethiopia controls u means u play by their rules. If they tell u drop sland flag u must drop it or suffer tigray assault!!!
  2. Mansa thank sxb, waba is cilowbey. lol!!! anaga qabilka wax xun illa ma ahaa sababta nabiga qabilkiis masjidka wa laga sheega lakin somaliaonline laga ma sheegi karo!!! mar mar waxaan is wediya ma muslim website sol mise ma ahan wallahi!!!
  3. President Anwar and i been to mars too sxb!!! The fact remains if las canood is occupied by snm why can't they guarantee the security of their president in las canood especially when he doing sland tour a couple of months ago? It is called logic go learn it, because people use logic to determine truth from falsehood!!! The fact is sland president can't step foot there because no snm guys are there to begin with and the population want nothing to do with the thug regime. It is internal issue between themselves!!! infact its just 1 guy who hijacked the whole city xabsade with the help of sandule!!! Anyways son, somalis don't get tricked that easy if u can't apply logic, don't respond with answers i been to las canoods and therefore sland flag is flying high...that is called circular reasoning!!! its logical fallacy and proves your argument false!!! Anyways whatever happens is pointless because if lad canood are owned by snm, snm are further owned by rayale clan...so really its burning house and i am happy because tigray soldiers are coming to hargeysa is what the foreign minister of ethiopia promised to kill your ppl...i love that!!!
  4. Mansa, if somaliland had any influence in las canood, why can't the president even visit there? Lol son if you actually fall for that crap, maybe you also think pigs fly too huh!!! Anyways reality on the ground is alot different then cyber world. But you know what is funny if i wanted to be cruel i could post right now 50 000 sland mass grave pictures from edna adan website and show the holocaust that was committed on him, or the torture that was done to snm prisoners. Infact i can even post youtube clips of sland mental hospital full of his women who were raped and salvaged by siyad and still suffering the after-effects till this day!!!! But then again, i am not that cruel!!! but if you push me you never know luck!!! I feel sorry for those people they are victims all the time, a holocaust by siyad and now another holocaust from rayale is in the making for them also!!! What is funny is that Rayale also got assurance from ethiopia to use tigray soldiers if warabe or siilanyo try to attack him!!! and ethiopia guaranteed they would. That is who run sland it is ethiopia they decide who leads and who doesn't the snm are just powerless really!!! but i am enjoying this crisis unfolding becuz i know rayale will not leave because ethiopia won't allow it and these slanders think they actually control sland. They are in for a big suprise.
  5. Gaarodi actually that is wrong, it was the eastern king who used to dock down weapon from the british on his coast, more specifically baargaal. Secondly, it was this king out of somali clans defeated mad mullah. The british defeated the mad mullah also, but within somalia no other clan defeated him except the eastern king and it is even reported on the new york post 1905 as proof!!! As for the green line in galkacyo, those ppl were invited to join puntland but they refused in the early consultation period back in the 90s, same with the siyad barre people they were also invited but they refused. Puntland can only offer, we don't force people to join the state, if it is in your political interest to join welcome, if it is not then see ya later, We don't hold ppl hostage because we know sooner or later when you hold ppl against their will they will revolt and cause instability for the wider region!!!
  6. Gaarodi if what u said had a pinch of truth, 28000 slanders wouldn't be sitting bossaso refugee camp!!! Anyways you got more internal issues to deal with, you have habashi soldiers coming to hargeysa if snm dares to fight rayale. Ethiopia just gave their boy rayale that assurance!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...y our done and smoked!!!
  7. Ethiopia Backs Somaliland President Dahir Riyale Kahin (Somalilandpress)-Th e recent visit of the Ethiopian delegation to Hargeisa, Somaliland capital, may be disguised as a routine diplomatic tour to strengthen the relationship between Somaliland and Ethiopia, but the rosy pictures painted by Hargeisa could be misleading. In fact the visit could be the prelude for a devastating political storm gathering momentum in Somaliland. We are now learning that the Ethiopian delegation led by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Tekeda Alemu arrived Hargeisa to mediate the Somaliland government and the opposition parties’ political gridlock created by the upcoming presidential election’s possible fiascos. But the truth is: many Somalilanders are sceptical about Ethiopia’s involvement in their internal affairs. But never before have foreigners attempted to mediate Somaliland’s quarrelling groups. After Ethiopia pulverized Somalia to dust in 2006-2008 and launched a brutal campaign of terror against the Somalis in the ****** region of eastern Ethiopia, hardly anyone in Somaliland or Somalia receives Ethiopia’s crocodile tears for Somalia or “good-willR 21; towards Somaliland as an honest gesture. Both Somaliland opposition party leaders bitterly protested against Ethiopia’s atrocities in Somalia. Ever since then, Ethiopia viewed Somaliland opposition parties as hostile. Yet another reason that Ethiopia is not keen on the idea of Somaliland opposition parties winning election is: if either Somaliland opposition party leaders Mohammed Ahmed Silanyo or Faysal Ali Warabe win the election, the winner would put lots of weight on resolving Somalia’s crises which held Somaliland hostage for almost two decades. This is something the current Somaliland regime is reluctant to do. However, through the eyes of the Ethiopian rulers, having a lasting peace in Somalia is not in the best interest of Ethiopia, despite its shrill about insecurity in Somalia. On the other hand, surely, Somaliland people are not hostile towards Ethiopia and wish to have business relationships with Ethiopia’s landlocked population, but Somalilanders don’t appreciate Ethiopia poking its nose into their affairs, nor do they trust it. That is a fact. Many Somalilanders are now convinced that the Ethiopian delegation delivered a message from the Ethiopian Prime Minster Meles Zenawi to Somaliland President, Dahir Riyale Kahin. That is, Mr. Zenawi using his experience of how he crushed the Ethiopian opposition groups during the 2005 election disputes promised Mr. Kahin that Ethiopia would send troops to Somaliland to quell any upraising against Mr. Kahin’s government if election violence erupts. Also, Mr. Zenawi may have assured Mr. Kahin no matter how much he [Mr. Kahin] rigs the election, or how many times he postpones it, the International community can do very little. Take Ethiopia and Kenya’s election scandals as an example. Not surprisingly, I warned about Ethiopia’s meddling into Somaliland’s affairs a year ago. Last year, in January, I wrote a piece entitled, “Somaliland: A Democratic State In East Africa Or A Tinderbox Waiting To Explode?” In this article I predicted that a failed election will lead to a failed state. See this link: http://www.somalilan dtimes.net/sl/2008/3 12/78.shtml As I have mentioned in the article, Ethiopia will be a major player in Somaliland’s election scandals. And the game just began. See also: Somaliland regime “Hostages to Peace” documentry by Human Rights Watch http://www.hrw.org/e n/node/84296/section /9 The truth is Somaliland faces formidable challenges: for one thing, unresolved internal tribal feuds in the Gibbilley region and Alshabaab terrorists bent to bomb polling stations in September 27, 2009 presidential elections remain an impending disaster. For another, election scandals and foreign interventions lurk around the corner. (See articles about tribal feuds and Alshabaab terrorists: http://somalilandpre ss.com/7172/somalila nd-elections-formida ble-challenges-terro rism-tribalism/ and http://www.awdalnews .com/wmview.php?ArtI D=12037 ) In short, the elections and politicians will come and go, but violence ensued election disputes will linger for years, create tribal animosity, and set the clock back. That is why we have to understand what is at stake: it not just the “election̶ 1; or “Mr. Kahin, Mr. Silanyo or Mr. Warabe” that will suffer but the entire nation could crumple faster than a block of ice melts in a harsh desert. We all must be vigilant and not fall into the diabolical tribes of tribal feuds, Alshabaab terrorists, and Ethiopia’s crocodile tears. The opposition parties must outsmart the current Somaliland regime to rescue our nation from falling into a dark abyss. As for the ruling party, just revisit our dark history; if any junta leader could rule Somaliland with iron fist, Gen. Mohammed Siad Barre, the former Somali regime president from 1969 to 1990, would not have died in exile. That is Mr. Kahin, his vice president Mr. Ahmed Yassin, and the rest of their cliques must not repeat our ugly history. 8. Gaarodi, somaliland just come as refugees to bossaso, infact 28000 are registered in bossaso camp as we speak. That is all you are good at, just begging!!!
  9. Mr.Somalia these intellectually inferior beings think that centralized somalia under islam is a possible solution to somali problems!!! Remember the i.c.u union captured mogadishu in 2006 and the response that caused from the international community? They even sanctioned al-barakaat as a result and the people were crying like little babies. Imagine if shabab ruled the whole country, what u think the international response would be? It would be alot worse then last time. I am sure they would put trade sanctions and make sure no aid can reach the country and possibily a coalition attack against the nation and more innocent people suffering!!! Therefore these people who call for shabab are really calling for the death of somali people, because the repercussions of shabab rule is just going to be devastating to the people. What have shabab done for local communities they rule? They brought them peace and stability that is excellent what about progress? Peace and stability will only last if there is progress. I never seen shabab building a road, hospital, and general social services. Infact even if they did how could they possibily cope with the needs of the people if the international community decided to sanction them from trade? In all honesty shabab offer no viable solution to the somali people except more misery and pain. The people who support shabab don't usually think outside the box and wonder what will the world say if shabab rules? After-all the international community is crucial to somalia because if we are to develop we need to engage with the world through diplomatic means, commercial needs, security needs, etc. You think the international community will deal with shabab when they flatly refused to deal with taliban? Of course not, and the somali ppl can not progress under a system where somalia is cut off from the rest off the world because we need the international community, we buy medicine from them, we buy clothes from them, we sell them agriculture, we make money with them. If that avenue was cut can u imagine the economical disaster that would face the people? Therefore shabab have no place ruling somalia and they provide no solution to the somali people. Federalism however is respected by the world, the world are willing to engage with somalia under federal model. Progress is possible because we have the international backing for the system. How can some guy who doesn't have shirt think about building a house? first work hard and buy yourself a shirt, when you buy yourself a shirt and are not naked anymore then come and lets talk about building a house. But these ignoramus think they can build a house while their region is butt naked. That can not be possible, the bottom-up approach is the only cure to somali ills. Benadirland, jubbaland, puntland, galmudug, somaliland. All working hard for their people at local level and providing the basics and then we will sit down and figure out how to divide power at federal level. That is the only logical way forward, sure their will be problems and political differences but ppl will not be quick to war because they know at local level they put hard work in which they don't want to see destroyed. Where-as in hamar they dont care if they war or dont because they have nothing to lose, but if they had something believe me they would not be quick to the gun!!! That is the best way, its called "ownership" when u own something for instance i own car, i wont be quick to go around car-racing with ppl because i dont want to damage my car. If i dont have a car to begin with, who can i race with, i am not even apart of the race. That person has nothing to lose and will cause mayhem because he lacks ownership. Bottom-up approach guarantees ownership and when hamaris have ownership and they find that they have political differences they will not be quick to war because they don't want to risk all the hard-work they salvaged from their locally run administrations. Get behind the federal band-wagon somalis, if anything will cure somalis in a logical manner it is this, if it is not this i see absolutely no hope in any other system be it religious rule, separation, or centralism. Those systems are flawed because 1. Separaation is never going to be accepted by somalis and even more important the international community. 2. Religious rule might by accepted by a section of somalis but its unaccepted by international community. Remember what i said about the importance of the international community, without them we have no progress. 3. Centralism has failed once under siyad because political power will be dominated by 1 clan and even worse only 1 region will benefit of development whilst every other region lacks even basic drinking water. These failed systems can not be revisited and any ppl who do want to revisit them are just against their own people welfare.
  10. Mr.Somalia it is sad how somalis have become!!! the intellectuals are dead on here, it is just personal attacks and we all know when people resort to personal attack they lost the battle!!!
  11. Tigrays my fore-father? no you see we have a policy in the east. Gashin waxaa loo dira gashinka kale!!
  12. Mr.Somalia they just don't like the success of puntland. Puntland went through the correct political procedure. We didn't cause mayhem like shabab and disturb the people lives. We didn't create our state through illegal means like sland. We gained international support for federalism and today that is the recognized system of the land from mogadishu to garowe to hargeysa. All these other regions use illegal means an un-supported policies and they are just an obstacle who will be tackled down 1 by 1. Shabab is first, Hargeysa is next. It is very simple!!! play by the rules like puntland, galmudug, and what it appears the new making of jubbaland!!!
  13. Africaown you won't ever see me talk badly of galmudug administration, do u know why? because they went through the correct political process and established themselves not illegally but legally!!! Hargeysa didn't go thru the correct political procedure and declared separation which will never be accepted from them. Either you play by the rules like how everyone else play or have tigrays over-running your streets just like they over-run shabab who don't want to use the correct political procedure!!!
  14. Geel_Jire i wasn't trying to put any region down actually, i was just proud of mine. But it is the other player-haters jealous of our success that came into my thread and turned it into a region vs region talk
  15. Poker as for the pirates you posted, at least we dont elect pirates, just like yemen they have pirates on the streets but they dont elect them to office. Just look at hargeysa you have thugs at office level, while in the south they have sheikhs running at top office causing mayhem for their ppl... We have phd lead government, we might have our thugs on the streets but we dont have them in office alot better then your people where u elect thugs to office...dhib baa ku haysto, and what is even worse even the thugs on puntland streets dont kill, rape, loot or bring any disturbances to local people life. Where-as your elected thugs are destroying your people livlihood!!!
  16. Mr. Somalia they usually resort to attacking the individual, when they know they can't attack the issue at hand because they have been soundly defeated on the issue at hand.
  17. By Dr. Ali S. Faqi Sunday, August 23, 2009 In recent days the Somali media has been reporting on an ongoing secret meeting in Nairobi, Kenya to discuss the formation of a Banadir regional state known as Benadirland. As you can see in the picture below, the meeting’s participants are all from a single Somali clan who as reported is planning to announce soon the formation of a state that extends it is border from Harardheere to Barawe district in the Southern Somalia. Most of the individuals in the picture are failed former politicians of the last twenty years. It seems that this is part of the Somali insanity that always pushes for controversial and polarized agendas. It is also related to a re-invention and renewal process that some failed Somali politicians go through, when excluded from the political process. These failed ex-politicians are engaged in a parallel process that will undermine the current TFG who with help of the international community is trying hard to outlast from unending attacks of unyielding opposition groups. This infantile political move is nothing new, but is the reminiscent of the political game of then powerful Mogadishu warlords of the 2005 (now defunct by circumstances), who started a parallel process with the government of Abdullahi Yusuf by calling for the formation of a regional administration for the Banadir region. Indeed the current meeting in Nairobi is more of an emotional project that these failed politicians are trying to gain support from members of their own clan who seem to be tired of their continuous deception. It is an attempt to mobilize clan members from the fatigue of political nonsense that has transpired their lives for the last 20 years. As most ill-intended Somali project, it started with the exclusion of the Benadiri and Lower Shabelle clans, who exceed in number from the very same clan that is meeting secretly. Ironically the group will expect their decision to be welcomed by those who they never cared to include in the consultation process. This whole process is offensive to the dignity of the people who call home Mogadishu up to Barawe district in the south of the republic. Lack of consultation and representation is nothing new to the natives of the southern Somalia. Just look at the current cabinet members of the TFG. There is one single cabinet member who is representing Banadir, Lower Shabelle, Middle and Lower Juba with a population of over more than 1 million. The formation of the Benadirland is a very sensitive and emotional issue and if feasible it requires full support from all stakeholders. The failed politics of the USC is the major reason to why Somalia is a failed state today. It is beyond any logical imagination to see the same mind that was used to destroy Somalia could be recycled and expect to fetch a better result. People in the south of Somalia are traumatized and deserve a better solution than a plot ideated by a former prime minister, Mr. Ali Ghedi, who we all witnessed his poor political skills. I have had higher hopes for him as he represented a new generation of politicians, but his short-lived years in the office proved me very wrong. Individuals who are pushing for the formation of the Benadirland state ought to accept that peaceful participation of all the stakeholders is the only way to deal with an important issue of this dimension to make it more tangible. A well organized and civilized debate should be organized and people’s participation should be encouraged. The process should be transparent and must weigh all the pros and cons and at the end the public must have a say to accept or reject before any decision can be made. A decision should never be allowed to be made by the very few individuals who are holding the country hostage. The ongoing political process should allow people to choose between a regional autonomy and federal states. If federal states are deemed to be the solution for Somalia, a more realistic option will be: Lower Shabelle, Lower Juba and Middle Juba will form their own regional state (the Riverland) as the natives of these three regions have lived in peace and intermingled with each other for several centauries. Bay, Bakool and Gedo would form Southwest land and the central land state that is currently pushed by Mr. Ahmed Abdisalam would be another state and leaving Mogadishu as the capital for Somalia. These are realistic and practical options and if implemented could bring peace and stability in the country. But how come I have a nagging suspicion that this is the same old-same-old game of the charter clans of Somali jostling over which clan will have an exclusive claim to have the right to milk the Lower Shabelle, and Juba COW. This Benadirland initiative is not different. It is often said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and always expecting different results. Dr. Ali S. Faqi alifaqi@yahoo.com Source:http://www.hiiraan.c om/op2/2009/aug/bena dirland_or_lalaland_ a_myth_or_reality.as px
  18. Miskin, It is totally sad when you can't even celebrate the statehood of your origin without people attacking you. I am damn proud to be from Puntland and if that hurts you go see dr phil!!! I clearly display my evidences and don't talk thru thin air like some of the nomads here!!'! It's like saying for example the kikuyu people can't be proud of their history without offending others in kenya. Really it is total madness at best!!!
  19. Mr Somalia, hargeysa wey u dhamatey adeer!!! Hal nin ayaa gumeysi ku haayo, haday hadlan xabsiga ayaa lagu tura!!! the hargeysa society is being defeated by 1 man former nss agent just shows how weak they are if anything!!! My advice to them is go free hargeysa boys, you got a monster in your backyard!!! Wat makes this worse is that the problem is not thugs on the streets, but thugs in office!!! nothing worse then that when u start to have thugs up at the top spot!!! illahi ha u naxaristo
  20. Somaliland troops 'seize parliament,' UK mediator arrives 29 Aug 29, 2009 - 2:54:45 PM HARGEISA, Somalia Aug 29 (Garowe Online) - Soldiers in Somalia's separatist republic of Somaliland have seized the parliament building on a day a UK embassy official arrived to mediate the political dispute, Radio Garowe reports. Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed "Irro," Speaker of Somaliland's lower house of parliament, the 82-seat House of Representatives, told reporters in the Somaliland capital Hargeisa that he was "informed by the police chief" that the troops do not take orders from parliament's leadership. Outside Somaliland parliament [Aug. 29,2009] Security forces that normally guard the parliament building in Hargeisa were instructed to leave, as hundreds of soldiers dispatched from President Dahir Riyale's office surrounded the parliament building and cordoned off nearby streets. Somaliland's elected lawmakers were prevented from entering the parliament building, where they were expected to continue debate on the political deadlock between the Riyale administration and opposition parties over the September 27 presidential election. Speaker Irro, who addressed a crowd of civilians gathered around the parliament building, said: "You see, your elected parliament has been taken over by soldiers. Journalists are prevented from reporting." The House of Representatives is dominated by opposition lawmakers who voted earlier this month to urge the Riyale administration to re-consider a decision not to use the registered voters' list in next month's election. READ: Somaliland MPs urge president to re-consider election UK mediator An official from the United Kingdom's embassy in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa arrived in Hargeisa on Saturday to help mediate the worsening political dispute, officials said. Mr. John Marshall, deputy ambassador at the UK embassy in Addis Ababa, met privately with President Riyale at the State House in Hargeisa. "The President of Somaliland and the Deputy Ambassador of the UK, Mr. Marshall, discussed a range of issues including the political situation in Somaliland, security, and the democratization process in Somaliland," read a press statement from President Riyale's office. Mr. Marshall is "expected to meet with other organizations, including the election commission and the opposition parties," the statement continued. The UK mediator's visit was preceded by delegations sent by the Ethiopian government and the African Union to help mediate political tensions in Somaliland, a relatively stable region in war-torn Somalia. 21. Very Interesting piece i am still reading but so far i must say they are spot on and accurate in their report!!! Thanks for the heads up!!!!
  22. Mr somalia and interesting thing is even all the modern day inventors hail from puntland region. Like Dr Alim Ahmed Fatah A Scientist. Born Las Qoray, created the technology all american postage stamps uses today and is in the process of making other inventions. Read about below http://www.somaliaon line.com/ubb/ultimat ebb.php?/topic/6/128 21 Or Mohamed Ibrahim Mursal an Engineer who developed the first somali language spell checker program. He hails from Qardho!!! You can read about him here http://www.somaliaon line.com/ubb/ultimat ebb.php?/topic/6/128 22 Whilst somalis are suffering 95% unemployment rate in western nations like wales, we are creating and inventing products being used by international government systems!!!! It really just proves to people by observing the evidence you truly see who are good and bad just by observing their actions!!!
  23. I have always been confused on what the word "horumar" means. I know it means advancement, but what sort of advancement!!! Well the best way to describe it is to watch the video below and you will totally understand what it means. Somalis are throwing out these words like horumar alot nowadays, therefore its always good to know what it entails and visual explanation is probably best. Check it out below on youtube what horumar means!!!
  24. You guys miss the whole point why i posted this historical incident, it was not to rubb the ego of my clan but to display to you that sayyid was truly a wicked man who killed his own people and tried to invade other traditional territories!!! That was the whole purpose of the article, but obviously you don't see that!!! It wasn't the eastern king who attempted to invade sayyid territories, it was vice-versa. The eastern king responded and protected his turf!!!! Humble man if you ask me!!! That was the whole point sayyid shouldn't be classed as hero of somalia when he infact killed so many somalis!!! what sort of drugs are ppl on!!! In that historic battle of ilig between the sayyid and eastern king you know the eastern king lost 700 soldiers as the article states? that is like 20000 in today term because the population of somalis were alot less back then today. Those innocent people died to protect their land from vicious thug who used religion as an excuse to raid and invade traditional territories that had nothing to do with him!!! So when somalis view this man as hero i get totally disgusted because i know how many of my country-men he killed. Its like calling idi amin a hero when he killed so many of his people!!! it is total madness what somalis say and do just because of clan sake. They don't even care to think, was he right? or was he wrong? or even assess the evidence at hand. They just follow the clan-card policy of defending their clans-men thru thick and thin no matter if he is good or bad. This is not islamic at all because we are told to judge by people deed not their origin!!! Anyways i hope this was an eye-opener to all those who dare call sayyid a hero, because u r insulting great section of somalia when you do in particular the eastern region where many lives were lost to defend their homes against this ruthless barbarian!!!
  25. Juje, Hargeysa sheekadood looma baxoo!!! most puntland people should just ignore them. You see how president anwar claimed that this is puntland police. Go here and verify from united nation development organization(undp) that is puntland police academy. You can check that at the undp site below!!! http://content.undp. org/go/newsroom/2005 /december/armo-polic e-somalia-20061220.e n Puntland has the best police academy, police force, navy, and darawiish and coast-guard out of all somalis and the great thing is that it's just going to recieve a huge boost when they recieve their big slice out of the $250 million intended for security for somalia. On top of that Puntland actually is on it's way to become an opec member state while u other somalis eat your bananna and khat!!!
