  1. if we all pretend and forget what happened then history will never forgive us. The only way that will prevent the genocide that happened to the thousand and thousand innocent civilians that has been massacared, is to talk and remind everyday how sad and selfish are some of us.One will never understand,if you look the other way and compare apple and orange. Mujahid can you spell"Fighter Airplanes". if you do then you know what i am talking about. Let me get out of here before i drift to a differnet level of understanding. see you dudes
  2. Well said, sister Latifa i don't know much about the Islamic section, and i can't forsee myself in debating Islamic section, but It will be very Wise sister to uplift those who are commiting misdeed to the good abiding muslims and if 1 like you leaves, who on earth will strengthen the lost crowd, so all i am saying is stay and give your advise till they drop their bad behavior. But if you can't see any improvement then u may quit , and allah will know that you tried ,but don't leave the lost souls in this limbo situation. Hi King and wlc, it seems once again the old times, glad you back bro for the moment. see uy'all
  3. Samurai i don't know what have you been drinking ,but let me tell you this.Hargeisa is a much larger city than I imagined. The economy seems to be doing incredibly well - Not sure what the secret is here. There are tons of cafes, restaurants and designer clothes boutiques. People are pretty casual dressers but seem to like hanging out in upscale very hip surroundings. Which suits me well since the only kind of look I can pull off on this trip seems to be outdoor traveller "chic". And here you are talking about Darkness in Hargeisa are u kidding me, i am going to post very soon about the city you are foulmouthing, and let you be the judge. I have to run but will post some other time.Oh by the way There are many parks and many hills that reminds me a bit of my history. In fact, I got caught in the downpour in one lovely park full of trees that I have never seen before in my life, even the green landscape looked a little different. Hey dude see you later.
  4. Dear Zak,Seems that essay pretty well wraps up the website. God knows it's been the big one for coming ....unless there's another essay that I missed. Hang in there Dude or join the crowd happy hunting ,walaalo how you been doing. Take it ezy. bye Dude..
  5. Well bro , from your writing alone i have noticed first that you were some where b/w 8-9yrs old when your family were part of the Regime that humiliated the Landers and Killed and Raped Innocent Lives,i don't know about you , but at about the same age you are claiming you were, i was criss crossing b/w jungles of somalia and kenya by foot, and witnessed what has happned to my family,so Yes Somalilanders are forgiven ppl in nature, once you spit it doesn't come back ,but in your case since your memory are so short, yes you can come and work and invest the loved land you are almost wlc,as long as you never bring the memory back to the ppls mind, and claim to be as you mentioned here , memeber of the Former Regime(brutality) comes to most of the pps mind. So wlc and enjoy for your life and make sure you respect the law of the land, and you will be mostly welcomed to the Lander Land. see you dude
  6. greetings. Oh boy man of Wisdom, Ok so is that a statement or trying to extract an anger from me, especailly i am half Arab , my mom is from Yemen, and here you go and saying Somalis are beter then Arabs, who made you the judge and the jury to label ppl,who is better, and plz i wish yu could Define me What you mean Better? be a man and explain it to me, will you ?Then i will give you my Penny take on the issue. see you dude
  7. Greetings, Well Mr SmithNwestern, nice to see you, but you are still spreading unfounded rumor, let me ask you this Mr SmithNwestern, why you are so obssesed with the ppl of Somaliland, don't you know ,Sir .Citizens of every nation and country have the attendant right to make free choices about their own lives and deaths, but have no right to choose death for others against their wills. Remember Sir most of matters are Local! so we must move on and forget this nonsense. Well i can tell you for my experience in Hargeis it is Thriving yes indeed and i don't know how to convince you when you have to copy and paste the western magazines, come yourself and see then make your own judgement. Peace brother and i will check you guys again in due course , i have to run now. bye all and god bless. Love you SNW. bye dude
  8. very interesting artilce i loved, i hope they (somalis) do well , under this hard circumstance, and i know they will.
  9. It seems that most of us are Brain Washed, you can't differentiate anymore what most of the ppl stand for, either we watch too much TV, or we just become followers, since when we have to please what kind of cloth we have to wear, as long as they are clean and well ironed, that is fine by me, but this so called causual or non casual clothes , the way i see it ,is a brain wash. Not long ago i used to work this place all of sudden the new boss decided that every tuesday we can wear casual , so we can produce a lot , imagine that slavery mentality in a new form. Well if you are happy with it good luck, but for me i wear what ever is clean. Oh Brother Shaka , r u crazy Naked in western countries Noh, but in the jungle of Africa that is fine.LoL. see u dude
  10. All along we knew ,what was behind the attack of the Iraqi Regime, it wasn't WMD, it wasn't about Terrorism, simply the war was only about "Economic War". Most of the ppl didn't have a clue the whole cause of the war. Iraq was the only Oil producing country who is also a member of OPEC, who not long ago ,dropped to be exchanged its Oil Revenue in Dollars, but instead choose The "Euro". And imagine if the rest of the Arab world followed his lead, America would have suffered big time,so that is for fact. As for Britsh, my take on them are, they (the British) are nothing more than Drunken Americans. So they no longer considered to be a Democratic Country, consider them to be the 51st state of the States. see u dude
  11. The thing that worries most is, why as a ppl sometimes don't use our god given brain, do you really blv that there is a Politics without a Women? i don't think so. Women's reluctance of Politics stems from their multiple responsibilities. Many are heads of households and have demanding careers. They also enjoy more choices than earlier generations. Now that women make up half of students in classes, women eyes are on more on balancing the toughest job around being a housewife and mostly a good mother than politicking and insulting one another like their counterpart gender.By realizing that women can make a difference, they are recognizing that a new century, a new millennium is hardly the time for passivity and indifference.Women are the true Politician in this universe. see you dude.
  12. Well Samurai Bro, you haven't changed a bit, that is what i like about you, u are true to yourself and glad to c you around, well for the tour i am not looking right now, but after my belated vacation is over, i will pm you and see if u can keep your promise. As for the puntland article yes it is old, that is not what concerns me , but the truth about the article that matters to me. See around Dude
  13. It is so nice to see the Political Bundits around, i want take this time to say Hello from Btlf City of Hargeisa to the following Bundits. 1-Bari-Nomad 2-Samura 3-Horn afrique 4-SmithNwes 5-Mystery 6-Ayoub-Sheikh(maashaallah) 7-Mr Odweyn 8-Gurad Somaliland: The Little Country that develops with out help: Hi to all, when i saw all of you in the same room i was tempted to come in and have my say, first of all Hargeisa is btlf and last time i was here was like when i was 6-8yrs before i took the long Camel Journey. this is what i have been hearing lately So, my question is, can we finally recognize Somaliland as an independent nation (northern Somalia, the bit that the Brits used to own). They've only had a stable, democraticly elected government for about 10 years now, but for some reason, we've decided the barbarians to the south are the legitimate government. I hope guys you dig my point in here, every time i turn my head around ,all i see is Love/Hate relationship with the Landers, oh man untill i came here i never knew how well somaliland progressed, if you are across the world , my only advise to you is, don't ever come back to somaliland unless you are well educated and have atleast some contribution to the beloved land, if not you will not be able to sustain life , cz there is a big competion and what only holds you down will be your knowledge but not who you know, my other observation in here is how ppl rolling over the land , everyday there is a new building going up, new communication, competition is very tense in hargeisa, so ppl don't have time to be headpulling, they are, blv me in a rush to the development of somaliland, i am glad i came. Boys those of you who have no clue in somaliland , may i suggest plz check very carefully next time you write a piece of your observation about the land , because somaliland is about to start some sort of western lawyers, that is right if you have no bases to support your facts next time around be ready to be dragged the real life of court system, . Well i have to go now but i will keep check only this political section, and hopefully boys will grow up and understand the reality of life. Peace to all Political Bundits. The Problem of Puntland An issue that has a direct bearing on Somaliland's ability to attract international recognition is neighboring Puntland's claim to most of Sool and Sanaag Regions, a claim that Somaliland rejects. In 1998, some leaders of northern Somalia and eastern Somaliland declared Puntland an autonomous republic within a federal Somalia. Unlike the leaders in Somaliland, they decided not to opt for independence and oppose the independence of Somaliland. Puntland's boundaries correspond to those areas where the reside. known as northern Somalia, which borders Somaliland.Abdullahi Yusuf achieved a military victory over Jama Ali Jama and established a new regional government. Clan reconciliation has not yet occurred, see you around Dude

  15. You Know Zak all this time i thought there were Men Forum, gee i was wrong, anyway glad to c u 2 guys King and zak , see you
  16. Well i have been here enough time now to give an opinion about the forum, one thing i did not find out yet is , how to solve the issues, most of our energy here was spent about "Somaliland". Well here is a good agenda we must going after , to those of you who sympathise about the warlords in Puntland, and etc, haven't you figured out yet, that most of the somali women in African or for that matter europe , specially Kenya are suffering and being abused and used day in day out. Take a moment in deep breath and put yourself in their shoes and lay down with those idiots who are commiting crime against innocent somali ladies, raping them ,and taking advantage of them just to get by the day. So why not for a change turn your anger how on earth this keep happening, while you claim Puntland is Safe, Puntland is that, i don't think so, so once again take a mirror before you start writing sentences like that, just look into your eyes and think hard. Because a lot are suffering. see you

  21. Marqan, you seem to be trusting everything Bari-nomad Post. Lol But I must say this is an embarrassment not only for Somaliland and its administration but also greater Somalia and Somalis everywhere please don't , it is has been known that Bari-nomad at someway have some facination with somalilanders, am wondering what it is? anyway Bari-nomad, why not tell us the rest of the somalia rather then somaliland? see you
  22. Amazingly, i wasn't trying to respond this thread, since the man is dead, god bless him, but i am not even sure if this a true letter or it is made up story, and what is the point of this information, i don't understand, are you telling somalilanders, we are all what the letter stands for, if that is the reason you are publishing this letter, then you do need to apologize and get a grip to your rumors. see you
