Also Puntland has hosted the National Football Tournament in Garoowe which was last held in Somalia in 1988 before the civil war.

It has hosted the International All Somali Women Conference where Somali Women parliamentarians from Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti and all Somali populated areas where represented.

Puntland has hosted many Somalis witnessed are Garoowe I and II and Gaalkacyo.

On top of that Puntland has hosted all Roadmap conferences particularly relating to the Constitution, Power Sharing and End of the Transition and why not now the Formation of the a new Government?
