  1. hold up, hahahahhahahha...no no , let me try this again.... hahahahhahahahaha, No, it doesnt work, let me try to laugh this way, ahahahahhahahahahaha, laughing hysterically @@@@@@@@@shoobaro... in any case, since u know so much about what I need or what I lacked as a child, ima leave it@that, mr./mrs you know it all.
  2. I am more confused than ever, but I can't be bothered by all this nonsense.... Did u just say u were a female??? I thought u said u were a male??? I figured thats why your old man called you a sissy, because u being a male and all....in anycase, who gives a rat's a*ss, surely not me.
  3. A lil friendly advice from the LayZieOne Some of you pple have no business talking about fashion, much less coming up with new fall fashions or ways to wear / re-model certain materials... It's true, some of you have no fashion sense, therefore do yourselves a favour and just keep on moving
  4. If you are 5"4 and you are a female, thats average. An average height for a female should be between 5"4-5"5. (You should be alright with that height, but why were u told you were under your ideal height???) If you are a male, and you are 5"4, just keep on running. Men shouldn't be that short, because an average height for a male is between 5"8 +... All in all, it doesn't matter how short/tall a person is, as long as your height goes with your weight, you should be healthy and most of all, you can carry your way through without pple noticing your height all that much.(NOTE:Your ideal height should compliment your weight and that will determine just how short/tall you are)
  5. Why would your dad call you "Nayah""??? Does he think you are a sissy or something???
  6. All I gotta say is the dude has too much time on his hands... I have never come across someone that will go out of theirway to let pple know that he/she is no longer taking part of a public forum, its just nonsense.(What makes you important enough to think that some pple would really give a d*amn whether you or anyone stays or leaveS???)) ((***shakes her head in disbelief***)) PS:Usually when folks are fed up, they just take off, without another thought. (some of y'all might wanna consider doing that the next time u wanna follow this dude's footsteps...)
  7. Did you mention something about finding a "JOB"????   My pet peeve is looking for a job... Deep down, I believe that I was born to just relax and never work for a living, and I think thats what I should be doing, is not working, but hey, do I have a choice??? Tips on getting a job/looking for work #1 Get yourself a new wardrobe #2 Always be prepared/be sharp #3 Look good/feel good #4 Forget cover letter #5 CROSS OUT RESUMES THAT ARE 2 OR MORE PAGES I am going to explain to you why I abide by these rules.... #1 You gotta look good, and by doing so, aside from your good looks, you gotta have a wardrobe to work it.(EMPLOYERS LOVE FOLKS WHO KNOW HOW TO DRESS AND WORK IT AT THE SAME TIME) (IT LEAVES A LASTING IMPRESSIONG, LIKE WHOA) #2 My favourite rule of all...if u are not prepared, and you are going from monday and resting tuesday, wednesday and going back to look for work on thursday is waste of time...YOu gotta be prepared and always on the run, if someone gives ya a call back, dont say I am not available today, go same day interview....dont try to act hard to get when u finally get that trashy job, just go and do the interview, even if u dont like the job, accept it, doesnt mean u will be there, but just something to pass along time with....(THE MORE LOUSY JOBS THAT CALL FOR U, THE MORE U GO TO INTERVIEWS, THE CHANCES OF FINDING THAT ONE JOB U ENJOY) #3 LOOK PRETTY, LOOK PRETTY...gotta look pretty We already have one foot on that interview room just by looking adorable, by that I mean, we have the upperhand when it comes to lasting impressions, when u look good, if the interviewer or the employer u handing your resume to is female, she will compliment u or she will remember u when she skips through your resume, and definitely make a mental note...if its a male employer who just happens to take your resume, he sure will me impressed enough to put a good word for u on top of that make sure the right hands get your resumes because he wants to see you back again???? #4 Don't bother to try and frustrate yourself into writing cover letters, why botheR?????????????? Each job requires u to write a cover letter, if asked, do it, but if its not requeired, why waste your energy????????????? Cover letters are BS.............. #5 If you have a resume that has 2 or more pages, forget it, YOU WILL NOT GET HIRED...MATTER OF FACT, YOU ARE FIRED BEFORE YOU ARE HIRED...THEY WILL NOT BOTHER LOOKING AT YOUR RESUME, FULL OF NONSENSE THAT DOES NOT BENEFIT THEM.... MY SUGGESTION???? Whenever you apply for specific job, try to include the qualifications that meets that job, and exclude anything that is meaningless to that job... For instance, if u dont have customer service skills, yet u are apply for customer service field...and all u have is some technical skills, and nothing else, try to make it personal, say u dealt with this and that back in this and that...instead of frustrating yourself into finding words that dont exist....make it personal when u cant find certain qualificians that employers look for... Best of all Sweet Gal, try to relax, not finding work isnt the day of the world... Believe me, there are tons of jobs out there for each one of you 9-5 suckers.... Follow my tips and I guarantee you, within the next few weeks, you will find something, even if its throwing trash cans....
  8. By Feebaro I personally disagree with D.A and her contradicting arguments. And for does of you who fellow her footsteps, ya betta watch out cause y’all playing silly and dangerous game. Don’t just argue about things that you are not educated for. From the sound of things feerabo is the educated one here out of all of you. What does DA's education about the subject have to do with anything that is being discussed here??? It sounds to me that you have a grudge against her, direct/indirectly, whatever the case might be, no need to throw weak punches at pple.(just come out straight)
  9. VIKINGS... Yes, the author exaggerated quite a bit but she has a "source", don't blame her choice of words, but blame her muslim sources...Those women who acted as if someone threw them out of the masjid, they overreacted and she just put it on paper, simple as that. Author's religion is not irrelevant, nor is the owner of the new york times intentions, stick to what's infront of you, listen to what these forum members are telling you and start coming with ways to deal with the issue that is at hand. Yes, you are right, no one has to be a genius to figure out what the actual meaning behind this article was about, but that is not what we are discussing here, and I don't understand why you insist on talking about it???
  10. Just this past week, a co-worker of mine and I were discussing this same topic. My co-worker is training to be a youth pastor, and aside from him being christian, and a good invidual that I respect... he is very curious about other religions, especially islam and he has asked me, is your masjid's as friendly to both genders as it is with ours and I explained to him that its beyond my believe that in this day and time, we still come last, even infront of allah. I was actually explaining to him these same type of issues, smaller space for women, less involvement when it comes to masjid and activities that are related to that, and that the men have somewhere to go and pray on fridays and not only be comfortable but to be able to have time alone and pray to allah...(they have that luxury, where as the women don't)I also told him, I wouldn't mind going to prayer atleast 3-4x a week in the masjid had it been women friendly, but that it isn't possible because in a way,t he men who turn the masjids went out of their ways to make the women uncomfortable. I also told him that I wasn't all too keen on the idea of going to masjid during eids prayers only, and that I am very hopeful this way of thinking will soon change. My point in all of this is that, doesn't matter who wrote it, what religion they are, but that they had the guts to come out and say what most of us have in our minds....regardless of the author's religion, she sure spoke on my behalf. PS: When someone posts a topic and asks you to voice your opinion on the matter, don't go off topic and start critizing the author's evil intentions. You somalis have a habit on just going way way off topic on most of the topics that are discusseddddddddddddddd in these forums. Time to move on about pple.
  11. Legend of Zulu, no wonder North-BOY said that I was talking about the other tournament.(I had no idea there was another tournament on the semi finals, I figured everyone got beat and those four teams were the only ones left off the tournaments, thats why I was a little confused about him pretending not to know if I was referring to his team) So I must have seen the UK TEAM WHO ATTENDED THIS TOURNAMENT, either way I was very disappointed, and YES ZULU, I have seen some of the Aussie players, they were being pampered too much if u ask me. All weekend long, I heard nothing but "WELCOME THE AUSSIE TEAM", "MAKE THEM FEEL AT HOME", "WATCH OUT FOR THE AUSSIE", ""SHOW SOME LOVE FOR THE AUSSIE TEAM" LOL Who cares if they travelled from a distance, they came to play, they shouldn't be treated different from the rest, first time or not, (I attended the tournament for the first time, u don't hear me complain) I think this whole business of two teams, same city coming and taking part of these tournaments and later putting all the blame to the organizers??? it disgusts me This whole Qabiil bs is just making my blood boil to tell you the truth. I know I am getting off topic here, but I figured that if these pple who couldn't find a common ground to host a tournament as big as this together couldn't come as one, why did these teams participate???? If you are a player, a coach and you are reading my post, answer one question for me, what makes you any better of a man than those who allowed this to exist???? I have to admit, now that I know there was two tournaments that existed that same weekend, and the entire tournaments, from first to last, I wouldn't have attended it if I had known what I just found out...after northern said I was referring to the other uk team who attended the other tournament.(I would have never allowed to contribute to this so called ignorance that exists within our own pple) I use to hear stories about these tournaments getting ugly, because qabiils from each part would sit opposite ends of the stands, but I had no idea there was tournaments strickly for each category of qabiils....(This will be my first and last, that much I know now) Looking at it from the outside, I say the coaches who allowed their players to take part of this are as much to blame as those so called airheads who came up with the split of somali pple in general. I would have much rather given my $10 contributions on that weekend to a dying/hungry child in somali, maybe I ought to start sending $10/per month just to clean myself from the filt I just game my hard earned dollar to, I FEEL NOTHING BUT DISGUST towards those cowards and their participants...including myself
  12. How many teams were representing UK??? This so called team of yours north isnt the same team I was watching that was repping UK... What do you mean "different tournament"??? How many tournaments are there??? I'm talking about the uk team who made to the semi-finals on saturday and was beaten by Ohio 1-6....which by the way should have been 7-0, because that one goal they scored, came as a lazy one just after half time...(Ohio team weren't even focused when that goal was scored at them) Libaax, it was sick the way they got beat yo, lol they had like 40 yr olds in that team...and they sure didn't have Jerseys that read "northstar", they had some no names on them....as I said, that team didn't even have a coach, I swear their bench was so empty, folks were starting to volunteer to play on their behalf.... MN PLAYED GREAT, I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THEIR COACH....he knew what he was doing, he definitely disciplined his players...kudos to him and the atl coach...
  13. Northerner, I don't know what part of the tournament was easy for the UK TEAM, because I didn't have the opportunity to take part on watching it, but I did show up the last weekend(friday, saturday), and missed the finals... The saturday game was just flat out disgusting.... I don't know why folks from UK team managed to have out of shape players representing them, but 6-1 over Ohio was pretty embrassing...Only because y'all couldn't run fast enough, y'all had folks with beer belly's in ya team, c'mon.... Atleast the friday game, T.o Vs MN was hot game, Most ofT.o team weren't fit players, but they sure played like they knew how to play...where as the saturday game, the UK team just could not manage to do anything right, y'all got whooped badly...in every sense of the word. I didn't even see a coach, y'all are very disorganized, y'all need to take em oldies out of ya team, and bring on the real players from your end of the world, or else folks gonna start thinking that all you got is em out of shape dudes... In all honesty, the next time a team representing Uk decides to show up and take part on these types of tournaments, y'all should consider putting some talent, not only that but y'all got about a year to get into shape, come up with a decent team, and upgrade your bench....BASICALLY, BECOME A TEAM....for instance, OHIO, MN, ATL are prime example of team unity...(They were professional and those kids were disciplined...) I don't mean to put your team down, but this was my first take on this whole tournament, and from the looks of it, I was pretty much disappointed with the game some of the teams bring into the field...
  14. Capital Z, why aren't you telling me how well Wade played lastnight or Odom for that matter??? Do you only brag about the heat when they win, and if so what happens when they lose??? What sort of a fan are you, only bragging about the wins and ignoring the losses??? I am not jealous of the heat, I praised the heat's effort to come this far ahead of the playoffs. (get it through your thick black skull) ...about reading my posts, only the first 9 lines were for your precious heat, the rest was for Playmaker... Speaking of playmaker, the only thing you had to comment on was the part about where kobe forced himself on the female, thats funny coming from you...(This tells me that you agree with everything I said except that part) In all honesty, I dont know whether or not he forced himself on her, non of us do, except Tuug.(He just happens to be hanging with his long time crush kobe at the time of the incident becuz he speaks highly of the man) Y'all brought out MJ's infidelities...True, MJ wasnt faithful to his wife, only becuz it aint our business.(89% of pro athletes aren't) We never hear anyone coming out and accusing MJ of raping them.(Matter of fact, we are hearing alot more of the true gold diggers who happened to have blackmailed mj back in the day when he was being unfaithful...and he settled with them, but some of the groupies were too greedy, they just had to come out and ask for more money, and we know how that ended...) We never heard AI, T-Mac, Duncan, Shaq, or KG being accused of rape.(thats becuz they are real men who can get laid without a problem, no force or anything close to it being needed) Tuug, I am not sure if you get the message thats written in BIG LETTERS FOR YOU..but u are not making any sense. All you ever say is how I am taken with the players alot more than I am taken with the game itself, yet you just happen to obsess over anything or anyone who just talks smack about your kobe, and his fakers...(What does that tell u, be honest) and the question I have for you is, do you have anything better to add to what we discuss in this thread, other than your poor attempt of catching my undivided attention??
  15. Capital Z, I don't know why you are talking about how I lost my credibility... Y'all beat me to it first, including tuug, playmaker and yourself. This league isnt just about the miami heat, and so far you havent said anything that is worth while. All you ever read and talk about is how wade stole a ball or how odom hit a 3.(U didnt have any credibility to begin with and u ruined your chances of having it,in other words u blew it) If u watched that game, u know 28 fouls of pure bs was due to homecourt...heat will have a successful end to their season next week.(ENJOY WHILE IT LASTS) I dont recall asking you to read my posts, and the fact that you mentioned it tells me u enjoy it very much...(U JUST HATE THE IDEA OF SOMEONE TELLING YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR BELOVED HEAT) Getting back to playmaker, I know MJ wasnt successful as Kobe has been in his age. You only see a young 23 yr old, who happens to capture 3 rings, with one of the best, most dominant centers in my time. A coach who will be a future hall of famer, and one of the best supporting cast in this era.(horry, fisher, shaw, fox) On the other hand, MJ wasnt presented with half of the teammates that kobe had, MJ didnt just get lucky at a younger age, becuZ he was developing himself as a player, and making his team true contenters in the east..MJ had talent and stardom, but he didnt have enough talent to beat out future hall of famers like isiah thomas, joe dumars..by himself..he didnt have the luxury of beating out stars in order to capture a ring as kobe had IN HIS AGE....becuz he didnt have a strong support, but in time the franchise managed to surround him with phill jackson, pippen, grant...kukoc, kerry...AND FOR THAT, KOBE ISNT A BETTER PLAYER THAN MJ HAD BEEN IN HIS AGE OR ANY AGE...AS ANYONE WOULD TELL YOU THE SAME THING AS I JUST TOLD U..KOBE JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE BEEN IN THE RIGHT SITUATION AT THE RIGHT TIME. MJ AND SHAQ's TIME CAME A LITTLE TOO LATE...BUT THEY HAD THE LUXURY TO EXPERIENCE ON HOW IT FEELS TO BE ON THE LOSING END...TAKE FOR INSTANCE...IT WAS HARD ON KOBE TO LOSE LAST SEASON, IT JUST CRUSHED HIM AND HE WENT AND FORCED HIMSELF ON A FEMALE...(HE WAS PROBABLY IN DEEP DEPRESSION AT THE TIME..)
  16. PLAYMAKER, did I just read that correctly...??? """"""""KOBE IS BETTER THAN MJ EVER WAS???"""""" HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND??? NOT ONLY DID YOU JUST COMPARE KOBE TO THE ONE OF THE GREATEST PLAYERS EVER TO STEP ON THE COURT, BUT YOU SAID THAT KOBE WAS BETTER THAN MJ EVER WAS??? YOU JUST SAID THAT MJ, A MAN WHO CHANGED PRO-BALL FOR THE BETTER TO A KID WHO NOT ONLY PLAYS WHEN HE WANTS TO, BUT COMPETES WITH JUST ABOUT EVERYONE OF HIS TEAMMATES, COACHES...THERE ISNT ANYTHING KOBE WOULDN'T SHOW OFF TO...(THATS PROBABLY WHY HE HAD TO FORCE HIMSELF ON A FEMALE, BECUZ HE WANTED THE WORLD TO KNOW HE WAS BAD) ARE YOU HONESTLY SAYING THAT KOBE IS BETTER THAN MJ...??? UNHEARD OFF... FOR A SECOND THERE, I HONESTLY BELIEVED U KNEW WHAT THE HELL YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT, BUT U REMIND ME ALOT MORE OF TUUG EVERYDAY THAT PASSES... THE DUNK BY WADE WAS VERY NASTY, BUT HE WILL GET HIS...COUNT ON IT YOUNG NERO... HEAT PLAYED GOOD, BUT PACERS PLAYED GREAT...BOTTOM LINE IS, THAT GAME WAS LOST BECUZ OF FOULS...TOO MANY FOULS ON ONE END OF THE COURT, AND REFS AINT CALLING THE OTHER FOULS AND THATS RIDICULOUS...20 something fouls is just ridiculous...there goes that 12 points that was won by the heat and extra few that pacers could have won had they not had committed 28 or whatever fouls it was they had. ABOUT THE LAKER GAME, I HONESTLY BELIEVED THAT LAKERS WERE GONNA WIN, UNTIL I SAW DUNCAN MAKE THAT GLASS SHOT JUMPER WITH 4MINUTES LEFT OFF THE GAME..AND I KNEW SPURS HAD A CHANCE TO WIN.... THAT CIRCUS SHOT BY DUNCAN OVER SHAQ, GOT ME SCREAMING......BUT WHEN FISHER MADE THAT OTHER CIRCUS JUMPER, WITHOUT A PLAY BEING DRAWN FOR HIM, IT JUST KEPT ME IN SILENCE.... YOU WILL NEVER HEAR ME SAY THIS, BUT I GOTTA GIVE IT TO THE LAKERs...I HATE THEM BUT THEY DESERVED THAT WIN LASTNIGHT...AND IT DOESNT MATTER HOW THEY GOT IT, BUT IT WAS A BIG WIN. I DID SAY SPURS AREN'T AS GOOD AS THEY LOOK ON RECORD...I AM STILL NOT SURE IF LAKERS ARE CAPABLE OF CLOSING OUT SATURDAY NIGHT, BUT THEN AGAIN U NEVER KNOW...THIS WHOLE SERIES WAS JUST UP AND DOWN AND UP AND DOWN AGAIN... I SAID THAT IF SPURS GONNA WIN THE SERIES, THEIR BENCH HAVE TO STEP UP..AND IT CANT JUST BE ALL ABOUT DUNCAN AND PARKER...AND THE LAST 3 GAMEs, I DIDN'T SEE A STRONG BENCH PERFORMANCE...FROM TURKULU...AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MALIK ROSE, I AM STILL STUNNED THAT HE IS IN THE BENCH...
  17. If I were you capital Z, I wouldn't celebrate this early.(making fun about drafts and how our teams ain't playing isn't something you wanna smile about, especially when your team just dug a hole of their own grave) No one dunks on Jermaine O'Neil and gets away with it... Young wade will get his caawa, count on it.(If not caawa, it will be on game 5, either way, he will get his and it will be one he will remember for yrs to come) HEAT WILL BE BURIED ALIVE, COUNT ON IT Z.( THEIR HOURS ARE NUMBERED...) Is it just me, or did Jaylaani disappear with the arco fans on monday night.(they just started walking out of the arena and the game wasn't even oVER) ps:If any of you ever question KG and his ability to close out games, you might want to play back west semifinals, game 3 Vs kings...and keep on watching...and watching and watching until you are satisfied...
  18. Jaylaani said it best about reggie and the pacers as a whole. Jaylaani's dislike towards pacers goes back further than anyone of us can discuss. Bottom line is heat are toast, they are lucky to win one @home..I've finally watched them how well they play at home against hornets, therefore this series will end in 5games. About the T-wolves, we can argue until our lungs come out, in this case, as long as our fingers bleed...bottom line is this series is going into 7 games. T-wolves will steal one at arco, whether it be caawa or game 4...(y'all make the call on that) I have a feeling T-wolves will pull it in game 7, it will be a close one, but they will make it to the west conference finals.(Y'all heard it here first) I wasn't that off at all on the first round, and I will not be far off on this call either. Getting back to jaylaani...If I were billy king, I definitely keep my fingers crossed for Emeka Okafor.(Thats a long shot, but never hurts to keep hope alive) My second choice is definitely either my boy Josh Childress from the cardinals or Ben Gordon(I doubt Gordon will last that long in the draft though, he will get snatch right around 4th or 5th) LAst but not least...Dijon Thompson from the bruins...I think he is a player that can develop, I have watched him play couple of games last season...Ima watch out for him, but I could be wrong too)
  19. AyYo Evil719, I have so much hate for the lakers that I stopped caring on whether or not I hate them still, because they suck. No point in wasting my hating energy on a team who is doomed like em fakers are right about now. After this playoffs, lakers won't be the same team they were 4 or 5 yrs ago. Kobe the raper is gone, payton wants to leave only if karl takes off and SHAQ WANTS TO BE A SHERIFF, not sure how long he is staying, but kobe leaves, I just might start cheering for them every now and then as long as shaq is a laker.
  20. This is when I have to put my foot down and start putting some sense back into Capital Z. I hope that you were not kidding when you suggested that the heat could steal a game in conseco fieldhouse, and manage to win the series over the pacers??? I honestly don't think that you believe deep down that the heat have a chance to play with the pacers, much less win the series.(its okay, u dont have to admit to anything) Have you forgotten who plays for the pacers, have you really forgotten who ended up with the best record in the league. Do you think that heat can pull an upset over them??? PACERS DESERVE A MUCH BETTER RESPECT THAN THAT AND IF ANYONE THINKS THAT PACERS ARENT COMING OFF THE EAST, THEN YOU REALLY NEED TO RE-THINK THIS WHOLE PLAYOFFS. Back to Jaylaani, I honestly couldn't agree with you on the lakers. I think you have said it best, they are easy to predict this time around. Lets talk about bench productivity, focus on the spurs, not much contribution from their bench. They relied on their youngest player and their franchise player to save them in game 1.(as expected, both men delivered but to beat the lakers in 4 games, you need alot more support from your bench, and in this case it did not happen) I said it on my last post, spurs can win this series, but only if they have everyone contributing, and I mean everyone including the bench....Ginobili was no show on game 1, I dont know what he was trying to do but nevertheless it did not work, turkolu no words to describe him. Horry was just horry, I don't think horry would make much of a difference. On the other hand, lakers have malone, even though I agree on what you said about him, I still think he has it in him to come out fired in atleast 2 games this series and make big plays. Its painfully obvious that payton isnt happy, he isn't getting it done only becuz no one is bothering to play payton game, but you have forgotten how payton is also unpredictable...DONT COUNT HIM OUT JUST YET. Bottom line is I want the spurs to win the series but I wouldn't want to start betting until I see their performance for game 2 tonight. I have to see if they made any improvements from game 1. This is the playoffs Jaylaani, anything can happen and that means duncan can get injured, thats why I am not 100% certain this is a spurs series just yet. Again, we can agree to disagree, and even though kings are a good team and one of my top 3 favourite teams, I still think that T-wolves and garnett have it in them. Lastnight was something else, I mean garnett was probably very overwhelmed with that whole ceremony, and I think it kinda affected the team too, thats why they were sleeping all of 1st quarter. Again, the X factor in this series is Garnett and alot more of Sprewell. SPEAKING OF SPREWELL, I didnt see too much lastnight of him, and it they gonna win, they need him to make plays as well as defend ofcourse...BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, GARNETT IS THE KEY TO THIS SERIES... KINGS DID EVERYTHING RIGHT LASTNIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE PLAYOFFS, yet they were up few points most of the game, and you wonder what went wrong, and its painfully obvious...the t-wolves and mvp of the league wasn't as dominant as he is known to be.(KINGS MANAGED TO HAVE A LARGE LEAD EARLY ON, WHICH THEY DID BUT THAT WAS BROUGHT BACK DOWN AND TIED TOO MANY TIMES, TOO MANY LEAD CHANGES AND THEY ONLY MANAGED TO WIN THE GAME by 4 points(is it??) HAD IT NOT BEEN COUPLE OF SHOTS MISSED BY THE WOLVES THIS GAME WOULD HAVE GONE THE OTHER WAY)
  21. Capital Z, kudos to the heat. I said this over and over again, it won't be easy for the heat to get through the banged up hornets. I think they can pull a win at the american airlines arena, I think y'all play a better offensive game at home than away. I think y'all live and die by your fast break points and thats exactly what's gonna win the heat this series. Again, heat can not afford to play a half court battle with the hornets, the same way the spurs can't afford to play a half court game with the lakers. Jaylaani, I have to disagree with you on this, I think this is a tough series to call, especially the spurs/laker series.(The entire 3rd quarter was run by tony parker against the entire laker fakers)thats a scary though. In all honesty, no one hates more than I do when it comes to fakers, but if spurs win game 2 with everyone contributing, then they got this series on lock if they show a little bit of struggle, lakers gonna hold off their home courts and we are back at san antonio with 2 a piece. Same with the T-wolves, love the kings but I can't disrespect the T-wolves successful season.(they have it in them, whether some of u might disagree with me, I still think this series will be decided come game 7, but it be a tough one to win even if they reach that far, which in my opinion they will beat the kings) Yesterday's game against fakers, it was one of the slowest, boring games I watched by far, and yet spurs found a way to win all thanks to little tony. If it weren't for him on the 3rd quarter, spurs would have found a large deficit and it would have been hard for them to beat the lakers ahead in the 4th.(I LOVE THE WAY DUNCAN TOOK OVER FOR LITTLE TONY ON THE 4TH, BUT EVERYONE IN THAT BENCH HAVE TO STEP UP ON GAME 2 OR ELSE BYE BYE TO SPURS)
  22. Playmaker, u can disagree with me all you want, but unless you back up your comment, there ain't much to discuss. As I told Qaac Qaac before, unless y'all gonna give me a good reason as to why you think Vince is needed in Canada, then y'all just going along because he is an all-star. I never said Vince isn't an all star, matter of fact, vince is a good player, but we all know that he can be GREAT PLAYER. Vince and The raptors have got to part, if raptors want to ever be successful in this league, or else, raptors will end up the same way vancouver grizzlies have in the past. Firing Kevin O'Neil was the biggest mistake the raptors have made by far, I thought firing the legendary Lenny Wilkins was a bigger mistake but nothing compared to their ridiculous judgement where Kevin O'Neil is concerned. Ok, shit happens, but what facts do they have to support as to why they fired him?? Becuz he spoke of the truth, he told them that they are more of a boardroom crowd than basketball fans?? He fired them because he told the truth out in public, a truth we all knew but no one has dared to say it before KO?? Give me a break, raptors gonna fall on their face, u watch....unless they makeeeeeeeee a miracle happen, they are finished....
  23. I gotta go with evil719 on the whole pick for the first round off. (Except that comment about maverics winning the series, thats just absurd) I gotta go with Pacers in 4 Games (keep hammering the celtic brains into the ground) I gotta go with nets in 5 Games (Ima give knicks one game only, because I admire marbury's game and respect him as a player) I gotta go with Heat in 7 Games (Tough choice, but I don't see hornets winning this without their homecourt, not that it ever stopped them winning away games, but they just don't have enough healthy bodies like the heat do and that would be the decising factor for game 6 or 7) I gotta go with Pistons in 6 Games (I am giving too much credit to the bucks, especially after what I saw this afternoon, I mean, how lousy can they get, maybe I should make it pistons in 5games) WESTCOAST Ima go with Kings in 5 or 6 Games (Only reason the kings can close this out is if they come out with full force, and if they keep it up, maybe kings in 4games, u never know) Ima go with Rockets in 6 Games(wishful thinking, but it be lakers in 6 games, only reason is because rockets managed to have 20 something turnovers and still managed to give themselves a chance to win and for that, if they play all 45mins with minimum mistake, they got this series onlock, if not lakers gonna bury them alive) Ima go with Wolves in 4 Games (all depends on tonight's game, if the wolves win big tonight, they will send the young cats home early, very early that is) Ima go with Spurs in 6 Games (I didn't like what I saw lastnight, very disappointing... to the point where I just turned the game off. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are young guys and were indeed nervous, and for that reason alone, they going upto game 6 in favour of the spurs, maybe game 7 depending on how quickly they can put game 1 behind them and face upto game 2 as if game 1 was never played)
  24. All of you are entitled to your opinions, and so am I. I've watched the show from beginning to the end as most of you have. Even though I've read what every and each one of you wrote before me, I have to agree with Darman. He is the only one who brought up the part where Everyone in the casino, including the CEO of the taj mahal was in state of panic because they were all told that the banquet room can only fit 150, and as soon as Kwame was filled in, he instantly came up with the idea of one group at a time, this way everyone is satisfied. Most of you have managed to forget on lastnight's finale show, when y'all were so proudly convinced that Kwame was the more deserving of the two, it wouldn't have made much of a difference becuz what omarosa did was a set up. She was called to come back and sabotage the show intentionally.(No need to hate on omarosa, she did her part.) We all watched Kwame repeat the same mistakes he had repeated early on the season, when he was put on as a project manager, he has managed to let others take over rather than himself, and somehow managed to get through this far and that should be enough for the man from Harvard. Good education, good manners, and overrall a good man, but that did not make him prove he can lead an entire company into success and build a multi-million dollar empire in chicago, thats just an example. He was given more chances than Bill was given, and kwame failed each and everyone of them. Troy managed to screw up couple of things, omarosa has done an outstanding job making him miserable and all she needed to do was just shout at him or smack him just to get some feelings into him, that was all that was left for omarosa to do and he still did not react to it. The bottom line is, if Kwame had not picked Omarosa earlier in the choosing, he would have ended up with her anyways because Bill made the first choice, and therefore he had the upper hand.
  25. CAPITAL H, congrats on your team clinching a homecourt advantage, I didn't think they had it in them. Qaac Qaac, I don't know how far you think the raptors would make, or how many moves they are willing to take in order to get rid your precious Carter, but trust me, the only way for the raptors to get anywhere and make something out of themselves, is by getting rid of their so called franchise. AIR CANADA can look forward to many more long summers. CAPITAL H, You don't have to blame anyone about getting rid of glen, the so called gm of the raptors. GLEN WAS WALKING ON THIN ICE, WHAT SORT OF GM WAS HE TO BEGIN WITH??? SURE, he has had some very good scouts who scouting very good players, including Carter but he had no business being a GM and making hasty moves as he had in the past, and sooner or later I knew the boring old, rich canadian men at the boardroom would figure out just what he was costing them to the point where they embrassed him to fire 3 weeks prior to the season ending. They didn't even let him finish out his contact, thats how disgusted they were. I do hope the raptors get a new GM, who is willing to either let Carter go(if they miracleously find a team who is willing to take up his contract and get some depth into the line up)or let Kevin O'neil come down hard on carter and threaten to bench him( and take away his starting/captain role as well) if he doesn't start being the player Carter is capable of being...but letting go off Kevin O'neil isn't the solution to the raptor's never-ending problems, KO is good for the city.
