  1. Lastly, Ms. Nameless chick how can you quote MMA's Somali words if you said that you couldn't read Somali at all or is my magic working already? I await an explanation from you. Mr. Axmed Guray, I don't think I said I cant read at all but I read a little but it takes me long time to read one somali sentence and at that same period I can read like a paragraph and english... Usually when I see a somali writing more than a sentence I dont even bother... First macalin, my classmate ibtisam needs to wear a burqa and hide her eyes I can’t concentrate on my studies . Second my other classmate nameless needs to put on jilbab and cover herself, and stop sticking her tongue out that also is distracting the brotha Khalaf, I am so insulted I am always covered islamicly, thank you very much, that is a avatar and not the real me. And most of all its a cartoon picture not even a real girl.
  2. People I mean teachers I have only took one class that Mr. Axmed Guray took where is my second class? surely u are not giving up so easly and I thought I was at my best behavior
  3. My self hehehehehe  LOVE myself but then again who wouldn't
  4. LOOOOOOOOOOL Miskiin, what can I say but the girl is goooooooooooood mashallah I need her as my teacher instead of you guys...give me her adding I will adding her Yes I know age doesn't matter and I never said it did...if anything the younger you are the quicker you learn... (man love using these faces you notice I always use it)
  5. There’s no way I’d ever consider marring a girl that can’t cook. Cooking is one of the main reason you marry them. Facklexm, first can you cook? second, what if the girl is willing to learn how to cook but does not know how to cook... Thirdly what matters to you more a women that has education going for her or one that cooks?
  6. I thought meeshaan af Soomaali in lagu baranaaye. I was wrong. Shukaansi dilac bilaash ayaaba ka socdo. Miskiin, no that is not what this place is for espcially not from any of my posts  Is that some people not mentioning names (Khalaf and IB) oooops couldnt help myself are taking away the purpose to this topic. So share some of you're wisedom with us and dont be quick to judage the poor couple
  7. You learn from your mistakes..I cant tell you how much people make fun of my Somali, that doesnt stop me from rambling on however Mantra brother of course I wont quite I am not a quiting and thanks for you're advice. oh hadaad rabtid qof kusaacidaa aniga ii yeed, waa tartiib ina abti.. I kinda read it but not kusaacidaa I have no idea its too long to read it... something about if you want someone (hope its about the somali class) and not something else. please write the meaning down in english so I could understand it better. PS
  8. Pepple you know how I came up with this topic its a true story and funny when I think if it noow... Well the other day my mum and sister was gone to work and was just me and my two younger brothers. So what does the older one do he cooks kidneys for the two of them.....I knew somethig was cooking so was waiting in my room for the cooking to finish and serve myself navie of me For a while waiting in my room I came out and went to prepare for my lunch and what do I find no food left for me, he only cooked for the two of them...was so pissed and of course there was yelling why didnt you include me in it. Answer....Im not you're mum and I am not always going to cook, I was like if a cook(once every three months)I always cook for the whole family. Even though he never eats my cooking because he doesn't like it but the rest do eat it So my point is I was getting away with it for a while not cooking. Because there was a agreement I clean and mum and the brother cook... Mum always said that you need to learn how to cook better because you are a girl and stuff... what are you going to do when you start you're own family? my answer my husban will cook for me but now I can that I was being being navie, espcially by the replies of some brothers here....(think Allah aint the one who is going to marry the Homer simpson guy)
  9. Red Sea or should I say "Mr. Axmed Guray" which sounds much better since we are in a Somali class... Well insha Allah there is always next year, yap I will retire by then and nameless chick with a totally new name like Xalimo the somali chick will be teaching it next time around. Inshallah I am aiming to learn Somali by then and yes I will take the offer of being a teacher next year...so IB dont worry sis I will be the best teacher there every be .....And the reason I choose to be with out a name is there is no good names there to describe me Thnaks MR Axmed Guray once again for taking this class as I am willing to learn...but you have to be a bit hasher teacher because the students IB and Khalaf are talking "no no no" give them a time out.... Like the way to started with the first class but now am going to write it down...and what Khalaf said in somali I tried to translate it in somali before look back at it and mark me....A am aiming for cheers
  10. IB sis....am not looking for anyone here just to learn my language and share ideas with follow somali's.....thats all serious Anywaz I had a long day and tomorrow is Uni so laterz sis.....getting sleepy now
  11. And cuz u read and write somali means u old? Of course not I want to learn and when inshallah do learn within a year I want to learn....that wont make me old but just one year older though Just wanted to know what the meaning of the section means and as IB said it means old people....brother you have indeed took me to old people's tertiary---still shaking my head Cut the teen crap (says that with love ) And what is that supose to mean???
  12. Khalaf and IB I have to ask this to help my curiosity but is there something going on with you two that I dont know about....I am new but am not blind, you guys are always every where replying to each other-----------now come on dont hurt me just answer as truthly as you can
  13. what khalaf you actually took me to an old people section now shaking my head at you brother...am still young in my teen years IB sis thanks and I take my comments on khalaf back
  14. Khalaf....the section you recommended " Dood Wadaag" that was full on somali...read two sentence and then went to another topic and run away.... its too realier for me to actually read a whole topic in somali...I need step by step. Can you actaully read a whole topic in there and if you can then you are the wise ones
  15. Khalaf, yes once you get elder you do apreciate you're language and tradition more... And thanks for the advice I will go to it after this post, even though have no idea what the title means "Dood Wadaag"...always avioded this section because of the name once again thanks and cheers
  16. Ibtisam, LooL no I dont think I made it up but was scared that if I missed any letter...."maa fiicantah" im not that bad, I know what it means already (but still thanks..its the thought that counts right) Miskiin-Macruuf...I think I got what you wrote in somali after a long and hard read but here I will try to translate it in english Aad iyo aad ayaan ugu faraxsanahay, walaashiis Nameless. Your dadaal waa wax lagu farxo. "I am much and much happy for you..sister nameless. You're effect is something to be happy about"-----direct translation isnt possible because the meaning changes but thats as close as I can get...how did I do (hopeing for an A)
  17. loooooooooool at mantra.... what do you mean "I dont want you" how can you not..I mean im only a name among millions.. pretty darn appealing if I say so myself.. Am speechless...
  18. Salam everyone, I am new and only joined SOL to increase my Somali...As I can speak the language but I cant read that well and write it. I also have a hard time expressing my self in somali so I just mostly speak english..home and at uni. I dont know any somali classes that are available in Australia but I thought here would be a great way to learn one or two things since most people are somalis. I would like for those that are good at the language to share their wisdom with me Like important words and phrases...I have did my homework in the holidays and learnt the Alphabets. B T J X KH D R S SH DH C G F Q K L M N W H Y I also learnt the names of the weeks in somali but spelling it may be difficult but here goes... Monday= Isniin Tuesday= Talaado Wednesday= Arabaco Thursday= Khamiis Friday= Jimco Saturday= Sabti Sunday= Axad cheers and thanks for you're generosity
  19. LooooL serious some of these things I would not talk about to someone I am dating (not that I am now cos education is first for me)....do people actaully discuss this in a first date...woooow would never talk about: 1. "Bodily functions." 2. "Medical problems that mean he can't have children. (It happened. Honest.)" 3. "How much you hate your family." (I dont cos LOVE them to bits) 4. "Family problems." (dont really have one) 5. "Your favorite sexual positions." (freaked me out) I could go for long but thats the worst I think
  20. mantra....when I read that, I was a bit scared are you gay? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- why do you wanna know? Firt dont get any ideas, I dont want you...the reason I asked was that we are supose to be MUSLIMS and no garbage here mate.
