  1. Ciyaalka xaafada my asz. They're too old for being Ciyaal.
  2. ILAAHAY naxariistii jano haka waraabiyo TRUE LEGEND he was. ADNA MAXAMED MOOGOW AAKHIRO HALAKY TAHAY CABDI QAYSBA WAYDII Maxaa aakhiro qof qiimo leh ku maqan.
  3. ^^OO miyaad akhriday. Red, Saaxiib waxaa la yidi dadka waxaa ugu faan badan ninka tuulo jooga ah. Duke is from Garoowe.
  4. I met Sanyare once. Don't much about him or the planning department. JB. You said Jiciir has done a lot. Can you please mention one significant thing he has done so far? I just wanna know. Please don't say he built streets. You know that is the effort by local citizens which has nothing to do with his office. The city was way better looking when Cawil was in charged. BTW, I heard Cawil had a stroke.

Talk to cali Aw-bashbash, Hussien ismaaciil, Saleebaan Cawar, and hundreds of Awdalites. The view is overwhelmingly pro-union. Hence, I dismiss you and the rest of the imposters here with the disgrace you deserve. Your argument has no merit saaxiib. You don't need to name few individuals here. There are people from Hargeisa and Burco who are also pro union. It's the majority that counts. The city I visited last year (twice) and 2006 (once) has a different view than yours and that is all that matter. BTW, Borame waa magaalada qudha ee lacagtii Somaliga ahayd iska badeshay ama joojisay isticimaalkeeda iyadoon dawladii ku khasbin ama ka caawin. P.S. The Somaliland National anthem is also written and compassed by Hasan Sheikh Muumin (RIP), another icon from Awdal region. Now what?
  6. http://somalilandinfo.com/node/2186 Adeer nimankani maxay isla wareerinayaan. Maqaaxidan Buttland reer baa furaty iyaguun baana shaaha gadi kara. Taa miyaanay hore u ogayn maxaa dagaalka keenay?
  7. Suldaan, Jiciir hasn't done anything productive. He is more corrupt than any one else in Somaliland. That is all I can say about that man. I wish he just vanished. I don't think it's fair to compare the job description of the internal affairs to those of Aviation or any other government sector in Somaliland. There is way more to be dealt with. I would give Ciro a C+. That is very high grade considering the current internal circumstances of Somaliand. However, I think Ismail Yare would have been a better fit. The man I really love to see back is Abdilahi Dirawell. His attitude and personality alone will win you over. He's also very capable politician regardless. I hope he gets the chance to run for the highest office some day. I heard Cawil is NOT doing well, health wise.

Will Awadal people in this forum confirm this fact, please???????? I'm proudly from Awdal, born there and educated, and I support the Republic of Somaliland! A&T, if u want to keep ur arguments based on ifs-lots of ifs ignoring the rights of the majority of Somalilanders while supporting the unionist agenda that's scarce in here then keep urself under that veil of ignorance. But if u want to base ur arguments on realities, instead of ur usual only clan-x supports this, then show us facts such as demonstrations and rebelions against Somaliland's independence that are now occuring on regions such as Awdal. And in the case of independence, u need to understand its the majority vote that counts and not everyone is going to be happy about the decision. I grew up in Borame and Camuud. One of the most beautiful places on earth. Borame has the same climate as Sheikh. The mountains around the city up to Baki are breath taking. I was there last summer. The people are incredible. Their hospitality is second to none. Borame is also the birth place of Somaliland post SNM. Isn't fair to compare Borame to las Caanood.
  10. Ayoub, How does the 4.5 formula constituted? I know it's based on qabiil. Is it only those within the Somali proper borders or Somaliland and others such as NFD, Kilil5 and Djibouti are also included?

  15. I created Strategic Operating Plans for some of these guys last year. They're very goal oriented.

Seems like you've missed my point altogether there. Still. Don't talk in riddles. Give me facts (manufactured or otherwise). So far all you have done is give opinions masquerading as facts. Ps Why will there be secession from Somaliland? I think I can predict your reply to this question already but, this time, I want it with facts not the waxa la yedhi stuff. Poker, Are you another sharp-eyed nomad? I was just asking man. I see max'd Mooge's (RIP) pix but I actually didn't think you're from there. Sorry! Useful, You don't have to grow up there to be a Somalilander, It's in our DNA....

  19. Originally posted by Allamagan: Innocent Critic: I wonder why do they (puntland admin) always hold meetings in a small rooms with prison-like windows? It looks like an ordinary school room. Look at any picture that Duke or anyone else post here and you will see what am talking about. Anyone should tell them to invest and build a proper modern confrence rooms or auditoriums. Its depressing to see leaders and Issimo in small darky rooms like these pictures. BTW, Nuradiin would make good PL leader, because he is new blood (not old school), young and intelligent as well. and thats what people need today. Whishing him good luck! That looks like one of the classes of my elementary school in Hargeisa, Sheikh Bashiir.

  21. Originally posted by Ayatollah Mulugetta: I follow, religiously, all the interviews of the leader of UCID, Engineer Faysal, because they are never dull. Some say he is not diplomatic, or he is mad ; but I think the man is sharp. Maybe he is not in the right profession, but no one can say he is not convincing in his arguments. See what he said when HCTV asked him why he opposes that voter registration is done on the peripherial villages of Sool. “You have Las Anod. What is the logic of taking the boys who are doing fantastic job to villages where you know they will face problems. Above all, why would we give a propaganda victory to those who would make a spectacle out of a minor incident.” Then, the Journalist asked him if the Engineer doesn’t think that it is mandatory that all areas are reached to legitimise the elections. Here is where Feysal’s unique talent was revealed. “Adeer” he said, “ North Uganda waligeed doorasho kama dhacdo. Yet Uganda is going to elections. Hangaraarac lug qudha uma dhutiyo. Therefore, you don’t have to reach every village to make the elections credible. They are credible as we stand.” When he was asked why he thinks Riyaale has not done enough for the cause of recognition, this is what he said: “ Adeer, wafti baan Hargeisa ku soo dhaweyney or Jaaliyadda Kuwait baan la soo shiray is not working for recognition.” Describing the level of ignorance by the general public, he narrated an incident he witnessed somewhere in the rural parts of Sahil. “I saw this man standing next to the boys who were doing the registration. The boys managed to eneter into the database more than 270 voters in short period. But the man did not understand why the boys were taking so long to register him. And he blurted out in rage: “KUWAN YARYAR HADAYNA SHAQEEYNEY, USHAAS BAAN KAGA SHAQEEYSIIN ”. The engineer Laughed when he finished the story. The kind of laugh you see on the faces of your friends when talking over tea. It was a good sight. He is funny, direct and in most cases gives honest answers. I never thought I would say this in million years but I agree with him 1000%.
