    yes Somalis have their own calendar they don't use months to count year instead they use days and it is 365 days. for example when you want to know the time of the year you will say today the year 100 days or 150 days Etc . they use it to know when the rain will come so keep some type of counting for example the Deyr season will start 4oth day of the Somali year like wise they know when the time of gu will come and end. another interesting thing is that every year is named after the day it started for example if year starts a Friday is called Friday year, sanno jamccaad, oro sano axadaad, sono khamiisaad, depend on the which day the year stated

    Do you think the new leaders will not steal. they will be as corrupt as old ones. so unless there fear from the consequence of their theft they will continue to steal with immunity. the day will come when hands of the big thieves will be cut off . where is alshabaab when you need them most .we need to cut off the hands of shariif sakiin, shariif ahmed and all other corrupt people at the day people will be afraid to steal public money .so we need bring back alshabaab so they can implement the sharia . sharia is the solution. shabaab ha noolaato

    last election in Egypt one candidate was disqualified because his late mother had an American passport. in Somalia a American citizen who have not visited Somalia for the last 30 years except the brief period he was pm wants to be president cajiib. in my humble opinion presidential candidate should some one who live the country who share the people what ever they are going thought not some one who is enjoying his life in America that person will not bring any good for our people as usual he will collect some money and run away.

    The president knows nothing about constitutions. His field of expertise lies in Xalwada business. he was great xalwadle before he accidently become president . It is high time he returns his old profession.

    According to the new constitution they have taken presidential system where people will directly elect the president and vice president and the position of pm is eliminated. So is this good choice? To parliamentary system was better because the power was divided between the pm and the president. Now all the power is concentrated at the hands of president while the vice president is given a negligible authority. In my opinion this may lead to misuse of power and dictatorship.
