  1. Taking your 'troublesome' kids back home is at times plain escape from your responsibility. If we take back kids involved crime, drinking, drugs and other edab daro yaa u maqan kids back home forced to host ilmo edab daran banished by their own parents?

Instead of abandoning your children or sending them back as a punishment I say at least one parent if not move should move with them.

The solution really is not sending them back!!!

  4. Why? he should set a great example showing restraint, xushmad and understanding no?

Just because he is madaxweyne does not mean he should treat the young man like qashin, embrass him in front of a full aircraft etc

I say he owed him raali galin.....i am shocked ninka qorey postkan did not demand the madax weyne inuu isku xishodo

  5. I do and because my generation in this topic are all late, I resorted to arguing with Chimera! Bless his heart he is ever so hopeful and refuses to admit he is working with not much (men) that kind of tips the scales and unfortunately not in his favour

lets talk about the weather, i got bored of the iron lady

  6. Fiiri, labadeena indhaha maan istireenaa.......one majority of somali men will not opt to be stay at home dads, regardless of whether he has a job or not, second past 20 years the role of the somali women have become 10 fold, she works and raises the children.Of course most women do it willingly. No amount of career and prestige equals to the joy of raising family for many women, not all.

I hope things will change, i doubt it will be my life time. Now can we go back to the libaaxyo

  7. Saaxiib read waxan qorey, i did not talk about motherhood and that option. I was refering to Wadani's comment

Motherhood itself waa shaqo sow ma ogid, in fact waa 24/7 shaqo ah

That's reasonable if the wifes academic abilities and earning power justify it so.

If you look at it objectively it is more likely the Somali women are the ones with the education and careers, so justification will not be too hard. Still they are expected to dive into the kitchen as soon as the board meeting is over.

Life is just not fair on Somali women, be it in qurbaha or wadanka dhexdiisa
