Now you can all follow him !

^^ Nonsense. I have called many girls 'naaya' and never got as much as a raised eyebrow back. Sheikh nuune gave a perfectly plausible explanation for the word and until (or unless) someone gives a better explanation; I have decided to follow his reasoning.
-
^^ The ball can move as quick as it wants. The tactics are the same. Did they not attack last night?
-
^^ I am going to take your word for it and ignore the women's protests from now on.

I still don't know what it means. nuune, if it's rude tell me in private dee.

^^ You know the 'crushing' title was a play on a previous thread. Stop being obtuse. P.S. Will 3-1 away equal crushing? I mean Barca will have to come with a new game plan to win by two clear goals without conceding. What say you?

^^ This is why I tell you kubbada barta. The result being right or wrong does not take away from an analysis, saaxib. The problem we have here is when your analysis involves Walcott's haircut and how it'll improve his his speed and the aerodynamics of his frame. It's that wild analysis that forces me to question the football knowlege of others. I tell you Lucas is good because of his positional sense and the way he executes the instructions of his manager. I don't think Lucas is the best footballer in the world. I tell you Arsenal are not likely to win the league because of the weakness of their midfield and their attackers reluctance to track back. You on the other hand, watch Lucas pass the ball sideways and decide that he is a bad player or watch an opposing team score from an offside and decide that Arsenal were unlucky (they were, but they are rubbish too). Wax fahan.

^^ I don't know what its equivelent is (in any language). I have a feeling half the people replying don't either. Miyaanad arag Sayid wuxuu qoray?

Originally posted by Oz: Their is no point of aggueing just write " barta kubada" Don't take it to heart, saaxib. Runtan idiin sheegaya. It is my considered opinion that Norf, Ayoub and you do not understand football. A&T and Bob have their moments but are handicapped by their association with excitable Africans. Football is never about Messi running past ten players and scoring a wonder goal (but, sadly, it is that in Norf's world). It is never one where a team always loses because the ref was bad (but car wax kale Norf ka maqal). It is not about the state of the pitch (but Norf says otherwise). Football, first and foremost, is about tactics and the people you employ to execute these tactics. The players that Benitez buys could never play in the Barca way and the Barca players will struggle to play in the Liverpool way. I tell you that Inter will beat Barca not because I like Inter, I say it because I understand the style of play of both teams and believe that Inter will come on top due to their work rate, pressing high up the field and spoiling tactics. I expect Barca to lose because they don't often face such (good) opponents. Having said all of that, if Barca do win, I am still not wrong. Kubbada barta nimanyaho.

^^ And even then I predicted the correct result. How annoying is that, eh? Originally posted by Abtigiis & Tusbax: How do you know what will happen if you admittedly don't watch games? War ileen! You mean you don't know how Jose sets up his teams? You don't know how Barca play? Do you really have to watch the game to perdict that?
-
^^ That was in the group stages. It did not matter as much. Inter were still getting used to things. Last night was different. Kubbada baro.
-
^^ The experts wrote about it AFTER the game, saaxib. I told you about it BEFORE the game. The report was posted merely to teach you about football.

The scene of my greatest prediction. (for A&T and co).
-
^^ You don't give reasons because you have none. Waxaago waa romance iyo prefrence. War kubbada baro.

^^ I think you're misunderstanding the meaning of 'pressing high up the field'. Did Barca have as many clear cut chances in the second half as they did in the first? Did the ball spend most of its time in and around the centre circle area in the second half? Could Barca pentrate the Inter penalty area at will? If the answer is no, then Inter did press high up the field. (I didn't watch the game, again).
-
^^ Like I said, if Barca wins (and they could) it will be a shock. A&T (I did not watch the game) here is a report In truth Guardiola was out-thought by the man who used to put down the cones for him during Barcelona training sessions. Mourinho produced not one but two game plans and both worked a treat, with Inter soaking up huge amounts of pressure before striking on the break in the first half and then pressing high up the pitch as they sensed their opponents’ vulnerability after the interval. Lionel Messi and Xavi cannot have had many quieter nights this season, with two of Inter’s goalscorers, Wesley Sneijder and Milito, the stand-out players. It had begun so well for Barcelona, who took the lead in the ninteenth minute when Maxwell left Maicon, his Brazilian compatriot, for dead before pulling the ball back through a crowd of players to the penalty spot, where Pedro applied a neat left-foot finish. Despite struggling to get hold of the ball — the home side managed just 38 per cent of possession during the first half — they created more clear-cut chances and scored a deserved equaliser. Milito shot across the face of goal from close range on two occasions when he should have done better, but he made amends in the 30th minute, turning sharply to pick out the unmarked Sneijder in space in the penalty area, the Holland midfield player making no mistake at the far post. Inter responded to Mourinho’s half-time team talk with a second goal in the 48th minute for Maicon before taking control of the tie in the 61st minute with an element of good fortune. Samuel Eto’o’s cross from the right was headed wide across goal by Sneijder, but from what appeared to be an offside position, Milito salvaged a dreadful miss, heading in on the bounce to extend the lead. ^^ You'll blame it on the ref and the pitch again. War kubbada baro. I am telling you here and now that I believe Inter will beat Barca. If Barca do win it will be one hell of a shock.

War kubbada barta.

Karl is making a clear point about a certain group of people. He is not talking about ALL Somalis (for, like C&H said above, that would cover a huge area and tastes). He is talking about the pseudo nationalists! Now would Gheelle and C&H say there are people like the the ones he mentions in his posts? I mean I know there are those that blame Arab culture for Somalis war (and hint at Al Shabab having Arab culture). There are also those that lament the erosion of Somali culture (like the moderator of the politics section used to do). There are many that would do a Marx and say akhaas when you mention the jilbaaab. But do the ones Karl mention really exist? Discuss.
