  1. To All except OG: Since we all agreedthat a criminal should be punished for committing a crime, why don't we form an organization that doesn't allow any judge to make any kind of deportation verdicts? Why don't we make a difference instead of being bystanders? Helping our country begins in helping it get rid of all those thugs running around loose. So suggestions and proposals are welcome... however I have a suggestion myself. I shall await first for your responses.

OG: As for you.. first of all we are not Cambodians.. and we don't have government that would regulate such criminals. Second the money you are so concerned with that is spent in maintaining a jail, part of it is OUR Tax money. Thirdly for the criminal to be shot he has to kill and rape more people than he is worth..meaning " Munaafuq mininkiis muumin aa ku dhamaado"... so my friend.. all those war criminals back home, can u give me a single one who has been killed or tortured??

  2. Nur: We surely blessed if atleast one of our nomad brothers thinks like this... but experience has thought me otherwise... meaning " timirta lafaa ku jirta"..so brotha what is really your catch in all of this? Are you trying to lure sisters to your direction or are you simply renovating Somali men??? Pure curiosity that is all it is!

Baashi: Sister that used those words when her gentle husbands lends a hand needs to be deported back to stone age!

  3. I am sure it is not new to any of us to have heard if not seen a Somali criminal deported back home after committing a crime. I am sure we have all heard of stories that happened around the world concerning criminals sneaked out of their respective countries and sent on their way to Somalia. What pisses me off is the fact that no one thinks of the poor people who have no other alternative but Somalia as their only home. We call ourselves Muslims but we are not acting accordingly. Islam doesn’t let a murderer walk free or a rapist for that matter but we do. Now that is unethical and un-Islamic behavior that we portray when it comes to our criminals.

So my nomads my questions to you are:

    1. Why?

    2. Doesn’t the sick criminal deserve to be judged and punished for his/her crime?

    3. Don’t we have a conscious?

    4. Don’t the masaakiin Somalis back home deserve a little safety and security after the long bloody war?

    5. When we deport a rapist, aren’t we facilitating for him to perpetrate the same crime over n over? Entrapping a maskiin Somali sisters?

    6. Isn’t it our responsibility to report and make the criminal pay for his/her crime?

  4. Libax: That is guur to most Somalis.. unfortunately... qof kasta dhiniciisa uu ka qaraabanaa... kan kalane ilaahaa u maqan... meesha waa leesku wareersanyahay... dhibaato aa ka taagan..

Qaad waa waxna na baabi'iyey hadaanu soomali nahay. Jaahilnimada tirada badan iyo dhibaatooyinkan qoyseed ee na heysta waxaa u sabab ah Qaadka hadii si loogu fiirsado. Soomalidana badankood markaad u sheegtid waxey ku lee yihiin drug ma ahan.. but to me... WAA DRUG...

Anyways... mr poster... tell your friend what goes around comes around.. I am pretty sure that he used to leave his wife at home and chew with his friends... u know what they say Payback is a b*****

  5. This helps me look back and be thankful.. I hope it does the same for you!

    Ya Allah

    Today, upon a bus,

I saw a girl with golden hair.

and wished I was as fair.

When suddenly she rose to leave,

I saw her hobble down the aisle.

She had one leg and wore a crutch.

But as she passed, a smile.

Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.

I have 2 legs, the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy.

The lad who sold it had such charm.

I talked with him, he seemed so glad.

If I were late, it'd do no harm.

And as I left, he said to me,

"I thank you, you've been so kind.

It's nice to talk with folks like you.

You see," he said, "I'm blind."

Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.

I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,

I saw a child with eyes of blue.

He stood and watched the others play.

He did not know what to do.

I stopped a moment and then I said,

"Why don't you join the others, dear?"

He looked ahead without a word.

And then I knew, he couldn't hear.

Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.

I have 2 ears, the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go.

With eyes to see the sunset's glow.

With ears to hear what I'd know.

Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.

I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.

  6. WAIT A MINUTE

Nayaa Caakifah maxaane hadii la kala guuray ma leeska qarsanaa farxada...see camalne... plus gadaasheey goormaa lagu boobayne... adoo qaaraan laguugu maqan yahay leebo ogaayee.... mise adiga & Bee waa tashateen??? Warka isiibo see camaleetine.... walaahi weero muundiyaalo aan soo qaadaa... hadii warkaan run noqdo.... I thought I got your back and you mine :(

  7. I can see that most people agreed on one thing that you should go with the person that loves you, and learn to love him back, but I don't think I can agree that....

Nafta laguma qasbi karo meel aynaan rabin. Sooner or later u r gonna regret for getting mixed up in the process, so my advice is " Let the brotha you love go, and go on with your life, if he ever was yours he will crawl back, if not then he was never yours"....But don't ever go with someone simply he loves you.. I did that mistake... and I regret!

  8. Bee: Did anyone ever tell you, you got sticky nose??? My brotha rudy and I have an understanding... Don't we Rudy??

Darman: They all are sweetie, none is willing to admit... they will come around don't worry...

P:S Bee I hope you didn't take my lil "dacaaya" seriously did ya?

  9. Dawaco: u are absolutely right sister, but while waiting for that prince charming don't u think we ought to question our fate?

Rudy: "Barasho horteed ha i nicin"... now coming back to your comment, " Do this once in your lifetime" sweetie I did it million times over...but you said yourself, you would demand more in the future... now that is not what I call "Pure walaaltinimo"...

Jamal: I won't say that, my attitude has never been an issue with anyone trust me... I am miss down-to-earth... ask my school mates in SOL...They will tell you, won't ya?

As for me, like Dawaco said, I will wait around and use my fools on the donkeys as a bait for the better half... :D

  10. Jamal: I changed my attitude alot sweetie, NADA....Nothing ZIP...I dunno, that is why I am here seeking answers. Majority of the folks that know me, know that I am sweet and nice, but definitely outspoken....maybe my outspokenness scares them off, I dunno, that is part of my individuality.. u see a friend of mine once told me, don't accept the person, accept the package, u follow my drift... So we shall wait!

  11. Rudy :D : You know, its really sad that most folks especially typical somalis, tend to judge people based on their observations. SOrry hon, I got no peeve with my somali kings, I love them. If I hated them so much, I won't complain, I would just extend my hand to the next foreign chap I see. But I am not doing that am I? I am still stuck with my Faarax coz I know deep down inside, THEY RULE .

I did write alot of positive things about my brothers but this experience of mine was to designed to get me answers as to why men r intimidated not rage into another of the gender battles...

Next time inshallah I write I will definitely give u guys the credits you deserve...Regardless of buluqbuluq u guys are...we love you, and its ur love that forces us in making you perfect... we want women of other nationalities feel jealous of our faaraxs ;)

BTW the Xalimo u were taking out, u did it coz she appealed to u, and that u have ur agendas so don't make it sound like u r doing a humantarian work... u r not u selfish prick!

  12. MMA: :D walaahi si aan inaba caadi aheyd aan iiga qoslisay, laakiinse adiga jini kasta waa laga akraadiyaa see camalne... inteed ka keentay ruwaayadaan... laakiinse naxdin ay lee dahay dhibaatada ka heysato waayeelka qurbaha... walaahi masaakiimiinta waa la jahanameeyey iika oo aaqiro gaarin... macbuudka! eeboow maqalkaada waa ku faraxhay nooh... iniid nooshahay leebo ogaadi... qaraabada igu salaan hee

  13. OK! Hold up folks

I think we are taking the issues completely out of proportion. When I have posted this inquiry I didn't have in mind that it would change to battle of the sexes rather wanted to understand why it happens...so I rest my case here although I couldn't agree more with ATHENA...

Baashi: As for you, I did do self assessment even consulted a shrink to see if the problem laid with me, but sorry I am on the track. Simply because I symbolize strength that doesn't mean I have lost my maternal instincts. No Matter how I carrry myself, the bottom line is I am still a woman. As far as other qualities goes, I don't think I am short in any....we are not generalizing just wondering why is it that men ran away from sisters who know what they want?...

Abu Dhabi is expensive trip true but the ammendities it offers is worthwhile :D

  14. UD: Instead of looking for closure how about we analyse the situation and figure out a way to soften our flaws, apparently we all lack that?

Baashi: Would love to see you do that, prove me wrong I mean but u should be aiming for Abu Dhabi not Mpls ;)

  15. Hibo is the one making the sweeping statements on how female superioty is making men scatter like roaches when the lights come on and I'm saying they maybe running for other reasons....so who's the chauvinist?

Underdog: like my sister BEE said, u have issues walaahi with somali women... u misinterpret and convert simple conversations into raven gender superiority.... its sad though... If a brother admits to being intimidated saying quote " waa iga burji sareysaa" I don't know how good your somali is but this to me seems intimidation and if u r trying to be chauvanistic here... its not called for hon...what I am trying to say to the brothers is.. there is more to the sisters who are strong then competition!

  16. Bee: He is lil confused...

UnderDog: Marka ay dumarka wax bartaan uma baran ninkaada la tartan balse waxey u barteeen hadii berito wax ku dhoco ninkooda in ay caruurtooda u baxsan karaan... and the mother is said to me uma-al mu'alima.. .meaning the community teacher... if the mother is educated

  17. Shujui: Absolutely bro... the feeling is mutual

Opinionated: Being loud is being foolish but stating your opinion is a persona..that is the difference.

    Underdog:

I (personally) can't stand brash behavior in women. Opinionated has the right idea it's not a feminine quality in ANY culture. and I'm not saying don't do it, go right ahead. But don't misunderstand my lack of attraction as fear. Besides if you're all tough and can handle anything and everything this world can throw at you, you don't need a man to do anything for you. And since you're independant and self-sufficient I'll save my services for a woman who needs it and can appreciate a man that will take care of her. I'm looking for a woman I can provide for and protect. Someone who completes my skills not competes with them.

Its sad when men percieve our simple sense of direction in life as a mere competition. God has indeed created you a role and that is to provide and protect your family including your wife...as for us, we are created to support and take care of our family including our husbands... and if your wife can direct you from time to time when you have been mislead by life, I don't see anything wrong with that..

As for me, trust me sweetie I don't plan to be a superwoman but rather a simple yet directed stay at home mother once I have a kid...and that is my one of my goals...however staying at home won't make me shut my mouth when I see my hubby goes the other way... and stating your opinions doesn't make any woman less feminine...

When a guy admits and says this what do you make out of it " Waa kaa baqaa, si baad iiga burjis areysaa".... now you translate that to me...if I misunderstood those words than its my bad otherwise... I guess we need to read btw the lines.....

  18. Bulo: That could be one reason but trust me I did quite lot of brain storming and I am at dead end that is why I posted this on SOL.

Shujui: Salaam sweetie long time... no brother trust the more I see brothers that are intimidated the more I encourage them to be themselves and not care for what this woman or that would think. And it is usually my habit to never let yesterday's drama have affects on the one of today... life goes on...

UnderDog: To me now, you sound like you are too much of a man sorry no offense.. and the more I read into your comments the more I get the impression that you are one of those guys who like to have master/slave relationship with their women.. where she stands behind him and does whatever he dictates her....Just opnion not judgment...so don't get too defensive...

As for us(women) trying too hard to be more masculine in personality as you referred to it... than I hate to wake u up but " Dammit Smell the coffee" we are too far ahead to be lowering ourselves to that level... There is nothing sexier than a sister that knows her roots and her goals... and if you admit it or not... those sisters intimidate you as well...coz all you faraxs want is a sister that you can cheat and lie to...NO MORE hon that is so yesterday... we are far ahead of you guys in the game and THAT MY FRIEND IS WHAT THREATENS YOU... WE KNOW TOO MUCH!

Mobb Deep: I am yet to see a brotha that walks away from my conversations, and FYI not all women talk about their accomplishments infact as for me, I ask questions coz I like to let the guy express himself..and see how he holds up.. its just the way I am composed that intimidates them.

King: I have been to your Hutz hon and sorry to say the most jerks I have met were from that area... DC area I mean... ;)

Kaafi: I didn't generalize sweetie I did see guys that carry conversations with girls even when they are strong ... and its attractive but most of these guys tend to be married... so where are my single brothers?

    One more question Guys

Why do you all assume when we point fingers at you, that we are reaching for foreigners?

If we were interested in black americans or a spaniols for that matter..do you honestly think we would spend time here with you, pointing out your flaws and trying to sculpt you into the men we want you to be?

Where are the men? All we see are big boys....??
