Salaan All
Been away for some time and we have some programmers/developers, even our own little place on SOL .
Its interesting to see there are people out there still using prolog, I remember covering a semester doing prolog - if i am completely honest can't remember much about it - did the homework and got the grade .
I am currenly working exclusively on c# and although I do think that c# is better incomparison to VB.net in terms of performace, it really comes down to individual choice depending on requirements.
I personally prefer the syntax.
As for jobs being outsourced(china,india..) i must say its the only logical solutions for most companies. As we all well aware a good programmer requires a decent salary companies will be looking into ways to reduce the cost, why not start with the programmers; also with technology advancing projects can be worked on & delivered from any part of the world. A modular approach is something most companies will be looking into(so be a little less greedy and stop damanding so damn much lol...
salaama
btw Nice to meet U all.

So the night before I left it dawned on me that I hadn't seen anything so I hijacked a cousin (more like bribed him with some marduufs) to take me around...so off we went to Tower bridge at 2am...just as I'm posing to get a nice "city view" picture taken, scotland yards finest pull up.c'mon now, whose at fault? 2am sight seeing? i'll say they deserved an explaination .

May Allah Grant you good Health, make you strong and lighten your burden. Ameen.

On the map finally , thanks for sharing that with us Ballerz.
I swore numerous times no to bother with the politics section but at times like this one tends to forget where one is ..
Same old opinions express over and over again...We hear U and U hear us, so lets leave at that
Peace in Somalia, recognition for somaliland...

Those who were heavy computer users - defined as working onscreen more than eight hours a day - were twice as likely to have glaucoma than light or medium users.....forwarded on to management - I work far too long.

Rokko - Poor thing can't be blamed for the faulty equipment ...
No competition there, I hate to admit it but women drivers(somali women excluded) are generally poor drivers, its easy to spot a lady driver, they are over cautious - which is a good thing if they are keeping up with the flow of traffic but they generally don’t. As for the blokes they are too eager to step on the gas – they assume they are on a race track competing with the next person. Somali ladies though are brilliant drivers, they have found the happy medium.

Why is Our Director having a meeting with all the staff today? Is he planning to increase or decrease the staff numbers?
Has my work standards dropped?
Can I not think with an empty belly? Sherlock holmes said his brian worked faster without food. There is also medical evidence to support this theory, so am I just looking for excuses!
Why is my colleague shouting out the election result - (252 Kerry to 254 Bush recorded at 10.27am?)
Do I care who wins? Are they both not the same? What if chimp wins? Will America create more enemies with him as their leader?
Why I’m not answering my own questions?
-
Arsenal deserved the result, not impressive at all. . They will need to start getting their acts together if they want to remain in the CL.

First of all congradulations on nearing the end of your studies and good luck with the real world.
Did you say that you want to skip off to the states? are you mad? are you seriously considering destroying your life?
On a more serious note my advice is when it comes to looking for a job, forget the money concentrate on landing a job that will open doors for you...Experience is the key especially in the IT industry. Once you have the relevant experience under your belt you can hip hop to the states. IT degree gets outdated very quickly so take advantage of your given opportunities.
Good Luck.
