    Firstly, I doubt any Somali is happy with having Ethiopians, Ugandans or anyone else in our country. Secondly, there's a difference between being happy about something and thinking that something is necessary. See, sometimes ya gotta drink some disgusting Buckley's Cough Syrup to get rid of the cold.

     

    At this point, the presence of Ethiopians is more or less necessary. In a Utopian world, Somalis and somalis alone would come to the negotiating table. Untie the knots. There'd be no foreign meddlers. Zilch. But reality is different, aint it? Clans don't trust each other. Yes, even when certain clans claim to be deliviering an islamic platform. The suspicions of others were justified. No need to show the arguments for this confirmed suspicion. It's been done on these forum a zillion times with amazing success. Neither the Ethiopians nor the Ugandans belong to any Somali clan so they're the best (the only, actually) arbitrators that we have.

     

    But if I were to compare the presence of Ethiopians with eternal anarchy and savegery, I'd choose the Ethiopians. Why? Add two and two together. Aint that complicated.

    Valeentaah, the politics section will turn you into a bloody beast before you know it. :( Anywho, do you mostly lurk in the politics section? The mud-slingining (oh, it's worse than mud) can be strangely satisfying and thrilling. The first few times you're hit with the dirt you'll feel a general sense of outrage and disgust. Then you realize that you can reciporcate it. Oh, from thereon it's all wonderland. Stuff 'em as best you can. LOL

This is off topic, but just for the hell of it, what part of Puntland are you from. LOL. I know you like to let ppl speculate, but what's there to hide? So, where are you from. Yes.     By the way, I've observed this, and I think others can corroborate it, but there's this strange sadistic want of some "Puntlanders" (case in point: Abu Paragon, xiin, remember ole "windtalker" or was it Horn :D ) to destroy not only the TFG but Puntland itself. They're quick to jump up and down with giddiness anytime there is a threat to Puntland. Remember when the ICU came to Mudug. Their support for ICU is no more than grievances against Puntland adminstration. Very strange if you ask me. Sub-clan greivances? You tell me. Am I way off on my speculations? :confused: :confused:

    Kashafa, this aint about no holy war. Dude, shake yourself out of this ICU epipelepsy. It's all about one sub-clan that doesn't wanna cough up the loot and plunder they gained from the civil war. To them, any government (yes, including the one led by their own cousin AbdiQasim was illigit) is an occupation. Wake up and smell the coffee.

    Khalaf, I don't know too much about the said handicap aka Abuukar. All I know is that he was the financial backer of these thugs. Assuming he is innocent in every possible way, what was he running away from? Why not stay in Muqdishu? Why flee all of Somalia?
