The Millennium Development Goals largely failed because they were developed in a generic generalised manner by a bunch of people old MEN who have been to various African countries handful of times. Much like the structural adjustment programs in the 1990s, the majority of developing countries mismanaged and too man loop holes not to mention the environment was not conducive. Countries like Kenya and Tanzania at first seemed to on target but 2years down the line it made no difference. I don’t know why they have not given up on them yet- I guess they won’t till the next time another bunch of old white men come up with new theory. Someone should tell them these projects are failing because they keep sending the same old thieves to implement them. Thanks for the link Cara
