  1. We all know when a man takes a second wife (in his heart), he no longer has that "can't live without you uncondtional love for his 1st wife" and if he doesn't have that (and apparently doesn't care to have it for her, anymore), then a woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do! A smart woman would rather go blind then see the new xaajiyo take everything she ever worked so hard for. Not only emotional investment is at stake here, but a large chunk of change too (whether they're both working couple or not, it's still less income ) Demanding a divorce or walking away waa u n-a-c-a-s-nimo. Keeping in mind that some men quickly abandon their children and financial responsibilities after a divorce. So markaa ku dhimo wax kastaa kaligaa, maaha all the while asagu raaxaysanayo! Ehe' isma oran! Kill him with kindness ie; uunsi+ xaax will make him happy and financially secure for her L0L. It's amazing what a woman will do and put up with for her kids, to give them a shot at a happy future. Emotional roller coaster rides really have an effect on everyone involved. Now if you try, you can find a lot of reasons (or excuses) for her wanting to stay or why she wants to keep her Farax or why she can't leave. I hope you are kidding.
  2. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ..You would expect this woman to throw a tantrum, nah she actully went to the saloon ,did her hair, did the qataab and wore her fav dircaa and awaited for his return...! raliyaa or in denial? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No one said you couldn't look your best while you deliver your final blows to him In fact, its the best way to go about it Loool Lily I was thinking same thing when i read this as well. She was planning something else. I am sure it was not for his welcome!
  3. Ghany, i`m not kidding. go ahead and let it out on me `bal`, ruin this wonderful morning of mine as you seem to have grown invisible balls since you got back from Burco. I don't have the energy right now, too bad I read this at the end of my day! Maybe i'll ruin 2morrow morning for you and give you a reality check! My "balls" invisible or not have nothing to do this with thread  please stay on topic.
  4. Nothing beats killing a fellow human-beeing in the name of God. What are punch of Yazidi infidels if not a ladder for the `Mujahid` to climb into the heavenly virgins?. The world is sure better off without hundereds of infidels who probably sympathize with the great Satan . Now that the `jihadists` served God by carrying out his will and cleaned the earth of those discusting infidels all is left for us is to hope that God rewards them with more virgins than they`re initially intitled to. Are you kidding??
  5. Somali Intellectuals  How sad for the future or somalia if this is the mind set of their intellectuals.
  6. If I was a self labeled and confessed nationalist, SL and its affairs will be the least of my worries  I would already have an overflowing plate. It makes no sense to set your sitting room & spare room on fire, when the rest of the house is already burning, while claiming to be trying to save the whole house.! Either you telling a lie and you are not a nationalist, but want the whole house to burn or your strategy needs adjusting.
  7. A lot of Somalis are closely following the courtship the secessionists in the north west of Somali Republic have been trying to embark with you for a number of years. You have never, not at least in public, even hinted, let along said, that you are helping this mad scheme of dismembering the Somali Republic. In fact, Lord Triesman and you are in the forefront of British House of Lords who always recommend to the British government to take every possible steps to help Somalis resolve their difference through negotiations and in peaceful means. But having said that, what incites me to write to you this is the fact that you have blatantly overstepped international protocol and violated courtesy between nations to mutually respect their sovereignty. Sir, you have disrespected the Somali people wherever they are by writing in your blogspot those worlds: “H.E. Dahir Rayale Kahin The President of the Republic of Somaliland Hargeisa, Somaliland” on August 7, 2007. Sir, I can not address you “Lord” unless you correct your behavior. Tell me Sir, where and when the British people under the leadership of the British government agreed to the dismemberment of the Somali Republic and allowed you to treat part of her sovereignty territory as an independent nation in the family of nations? Sir, I think the appropriate action for you now is to erase these words from your blogspot and apology to the Somali people. Sir, you can ignore my calling. I know that. But, let me remind you that historically the Somali people bear what we call in Somali “gudub” (kind of grudge with no enmity and can be resolved through peaceful means) against British colonial governments. Your predecessors gave away our lands to the Ethiopians. You shouldn’t let the Italians come back to the south after the WWII and thus you should have kept us under one administration until independence. And now if you start to sweet-talk to the secessionists who in their miscalculations want to destroy the fabric of Somali society, for few votes in the dark alleys of the city of London, the “guudbs” against you is going to spike. A man is a man when he accepts his mistakes and apologies about them. Apologize and erase the insulting words from blogspot, Sir. Ali Nayruus geedweyn@yahoo.com Yaab baadan daaku. I cannot believe you are campaign against an old man, who wrote a silly letter to show his support for few people who have been arrested unlawfully. Surely there are many other worthy causes you can campagin for. Hiding behind the mask of many somali people will not get you anywhere. Do something worthy with your time. You could at least be nice/ polite to him, instead of trying to be high and might :rolleyes JAc, Why don't you send him a letter to thank him for his letter and for the way he addressed your president baal. Just to support the old man!. lool This world is going mad!
  8. ^^Skipper  Buuxo asked for an exaplanation, so did she or didnt she take the dabqaadka?? And where was it in the first place, abdi-rashid's/ifrahs room? So you can have the liberty to think for yourself dear, I was not talking to you.
  9. Horn Relief is a really good organisation. so you should be okay Shumey.
  10. She is now very happy with a Somali family and keeps stating Somalis are very good people. So we might be nasty to each other but to others who are less privileged we are fair. ^^^So true. I keep seeing stories like these, they don't even shock me anymore. Indian, Sri Lankan and Filipinos get abused all over the Middle East. But i do think in some cases they are to blame, but then again poverty does make you do strange things.
  11. ^^^A bit you say  They abused the term "flat/room mates" Lily sometimes you have to be room mates with strangers
  12. Buuxo, they are just on a different level then us, must be one of the strangers things you can do!
  13. ^^LOOL Lily! Anemia is not exactly a major disease, and it is easily controlled. How nice of her though she is far too kind! lol
  14. ^^^North: I Know the waadad you are referring to, But my comments were in relation to the posted article, which is about Saudi. With reference to your wadaad, the only people who had anything against him were those who he shamed by getting family/ people to witness their after dark activities  from what I heard that was his only power, he did not beat anyone. I thought he was arrested for other reasons, rather than this. For his own safety I don't think he should do that though, even messed up people have a whole family/ clan is behind them regardless of their actions  Not to mention that these youngest hang around in groups terrorizing people themselves after dark.
  15. Oi^^ Jac: No thanks, I feel sorry for him, it is hard to please somalis! lol
  16. There is a difference between commanding the good and forbidding the evil, to what these Mudawains are doing. Beating people to death and terrorising the streets is not "good" now is it. This is abuse of the deen and power that is trusted in them, in the end they become God, more people are scared of being spotted and whipped then leaving actions for the sake of allah.
  17. ^^^lool. As i remember it was in the sitting room, but belong to the girl, the old women removed it and placed it next to the girls bed, but since the girl never slept in her room, she ..... and you know the rest!
  18. Acuudu billah. No there should not be a Police like this anywhere! I'm reluctant to call these people wadaad, I can think of few other names for them. This harshness is one of the reasons they are facing so many problems, and why they have so many underground nasty habits which is severely damaging their society. Not only that but these atrocious practices all in the name of Islam, no wonder young people are turning away from strict Islamic practices in these places and yarning for western culture. You cannot be beaten into Islam.
  19. ^^^A head of something something or another. Ngonge don't worry I'm sure he'll give you your title once he is in place. Patronising indeed, not to mention hint of threat/ blackmail. If I was Riyaal and someone sent me that....
  20. Lool. On a serious note the Media sect in miles ahead in both places. It is amazing.
  21. Very sad news, Subxanallah. Allah Yarxamhum. p.s. Why is this in the politics section?
  22. I saw the English mother son version, the Somali one just sounds strange, like what the hell is wrong with the Hooyo, far too accepting and diplomatic with her son! Farax Brown are you okay dear, sounds like you are having a fit!
