I'm sure you are acquainted with all those suicide by immolation and destroyed homes; the key is thus prevention, prevention and again prevention! In appropriate, Shariah compliant ways, Women will have a say and will even receive basic education as a top priority; no more Western cliche of mothers kept in "ignorance", as Islam recognise and optimise their vital role. They are also the main beneficiaries of authentic Equality (but also progressive Environmental protection and Health systems etc)... SalamAlikum, There is no link between illegitimate babies and participation of women in some aspects of society. Nor does their involvement necessarily mean the disintegration of society morality or the rise or promiscuity. I don’t like the fact that you have painted women as the root cause of all evil and everything that can possible go wrong is attributed to them. For one thing Somali history is against you, for Somali women in general have not played a pivotal role in destroying it. For another, Somali women, culture and customs does not promote such lifestyle. Even without government and control, these issues and life style have remained minimal, why then would you think they will increase or be a subject or worry if Islamic government was introduced. It is not a matter of having a say per say, but having a direct role in issues that concern them and the development of systems that are impacting on them. Before you think I am advocate for western style women role in government or challenge for leadership, I am not, I am aware of the limitations that Islam places on their role, however the Islamic limitations are much wider and inclusive then the relegated role of receiving “basic education” and hiding to avoid being a burden on the health system and throwing away babies. It seems that rather than educating people and make them understand and accept Islam and the rule of Islam as the natural way forward, often people want to impose and dictate to them Islamic way of living, which simply won’t work and makes people resent that which has not been explained/ educated on. On a general note, this seem like a wish list or if I could wave a magic stick, rather than working with the realities in Somalia. For example, the probability of finding in Somalia: a none-clanist, none criminal, over the legal age, pro Islam, none qaad eating or other habits is much less than the number of men needed to run a country. Instead of subjugating the women and trying to get a bunch of males to run a country without their input, you might be better off doubling up some of your ministers (education, trade, health and research at least) so that you have almost two co-societies running together cohesively, but each department tending to the needs and specifications. That way you can utilise the full potential of your population.
  2. Loool @ Barafka iridka yaalla ayaan masaxayaa! Why more will come down and you don't leave the house anyway Of course I will make your stay worthwhile JB such waste, no wonder SL aint getting anywhere fast
  3. Naden the guys think a normal headache are the same as migraines. If they had a migraine they will take a month off work or write a will and letters to their loved ones. I use to get them on regular basis like two three times a week, alhumdulilah now I only get them once every few weeks. But I tried so many things at once, I cannot point to something specific that did the trick in the end. I use to take one Aspirin at night for a while as well, regardless of whether I had a migraine at that time or not. As for acupuncture, I had a combination of a total of 12 sessions. I gave up fizzy drinks, still have lots of sugar and bad eating habits which is probably why I still get them now and again.
  4. ^^^Last I knew we got him to see a psychologist, I have not been able to reach him personally but coordinated via his wife, so was very upset and sad that he is so depressed and she does not know how to help, she does not know he threaten to kill himself and I did not have the heart to tell her. I’ll check on him today. 1day in London, err you could not make it two?

Of course you are OUR cook, otherwise you'll live on soup and leafs  Pluz you'd rather be my chef than that damn cuuri Ngonge keeps talking about. Hey Ms DD How are you doing? Twitering, never thought you had THAT much to say. 12. Khyr: You got the ages wrong wait, somalis believe: 18-23yr-Exploitation 24-28-Gold 29-35 Silver 36-45 Bronze 50-100 - Aluminum
  13. @ Faheema: LOOL we spend too much time together! lol Oz: Reer Oz must be beyond ilbaax, why do girls carry a kit around with them, Waali, would it not be easier to make sure you don't need to take a test to start with. As for you, you are qaaxar! P.s. It would only work if she has a reason to think there is a possibility, but then again she won't be carrying a kit unless she thought it was possible.
  14. OZ: Eeer how would you know and she does not know? Unless your a GP or you are going to claim that you tricked her and got her knocked up. Juxa so 7pm tomorrow is cool?

Not the normal raaliyo, but he is still alive By the way: "Poor Bengali, What did Ibtisam done to you" Did you post this after a long day
  17. ^^Dude that is a huge risk, having a baby is a different type of long term migraine. I don't know if that is helpful advise: 9months, labour, then minimum 18yrs. Oh and the migraine is just reduced, it does not go away all together.
  18. ^^^What is that saying: "islaan faadidah lagden la fudud" Most of the time you think your eyeballs are going to fall out, or you feel faint or throwing up, or your head weights a ton. Y’ll be lucky if you can walk in a straight line let alone jimicis.
  19. ^^^Clearly you've never had a migraine if you think a diversion will work, the jerk from the needle pain will make her pass out, it is difficult to even move your head let alone winch in pain and jerk about.
  20. Morning Ngonge, Save it for another day where you need it, rather than just dull day. Don't you have a story to write or something to keep yourself busy
  21. Naden: Drink lots of water, head/ face massage (particularly at the base of your head and your temples, used dime light in your house, avoid sugar and fizzy drinks. Constipation can make it worse, so eat well. I also tried acupuncture, at least six sessions before you feel its impact. Nurofen express liquid tablets are very powerful and less damaging in the long term. If you have timo adage, and you use hair oil, use a light one, and deep condition your hair once a month. For time being, lay down on damp towel on you head in a dark room.
  22. ^^Remind me in the afternoon please, haada he is sleeping still. lol I'm sure I'll be impressed if you've been up all night.
  23. Morning CL: Johnny: Never noticed your af-somali was so bad!!! (thats rich coming from me I know!) Morning, Faheema did you get stubborn again and refuse to sleep till you get it right?
  24. I have so much work to do, its not getting any less even though I've been working on it all day. Anyone here... Juxa, you and Sayid have both gone AWOL miyaa?
  25. ^^^What has Somali tradition got to do with the deen. As for the sufis, that is not a great surprise, after all Sufism is more spiritual and centres on dikir and "what’s in the heart/ soul" rather than the dress or actions, it is also the second most lineate sect. Sufism is no longer the majority with the Somalis, and particularly in North it cease to exist, all that grave chanting and sacrificing, mawliid and all the typical celebrations have gone.
