  1. South Africa today is known to be one of the most violent countries in the entire world. We all know about the xenophobic attacks and the violent crimes that continue in that country. What is it about South Africa that makes it so violent?

Watch this clip that just went viral. It's an older woman being beaten up by adult men.

  2. Somalia's total external debt is about 2.2 billion dollars (some estimates are between 2 and 3 billion dollars). It's one of the lowest debt in the world. With careful planning the country can be debt free within years. Heck, the potential for one years of fishing equals to 2 billion dollars alone to put it in perspective.

I've read that other institutions are in early stages of writing off Somalia's debt, because it's so little. Link

It seems the international community and institutions are calculating that it's easier and cheaper to help create a stable Somalia, than let terrorism and piracy flourish. According to the World Bank it has costed the world 18 billion dollars annually, because of the piracy. Link

  3. Lol Johnny B.

I'm very much against supremacy in general, but white supremacy (and to some extent Arab supremacy) is the worst in my opinion. My lack of faith in religion has nothing to do with white or Arab people. Nor does it specifically have to do with slavery. Although it is a part of it. There's just too much I cannot fathom and accept, because I go deeper in religion than the shallow aspects of it.

But religious people that do not spread dogma and judgement all around and are spiritually enlightened are very much welcome in my vicinity. Great folk.

  4. Question:

    1) What is the average hotel price in Mogadishu now? Is it about a 100 dollars or is this an exaggeration?

    2) Which neighbourhoods do you think will be upcoming in the future that a long term planner could think of? Perhaps neigbouring districts? I'm not talking about the neighbourhoods that are expensive and popular now.

No... No alshabaab is a real paining in the *** for somali speaking nations but in the xamar and the south, everyone who does something bad is pointing his/ her finger on alshabaab. That is the differences. Killing, rapping, ....... Even mugging and pick pocketing is alshabaab when clearly they are not committing all these.

They claimed responsibility already. And we should demonize them to the core. They are representors of the devil on this earth.

  6. If true, I hope he's not a populist type like Tarzan. Screaming through microphones like Mussolini lol.

    - I hope this guy takes the issue of IDP's very seriously

    - Tries not to create havoc between the locals and diaspora ( social cohesion )

    - Works well with the urban planning department and important ministeries such as transport

    - Makes safety a top priority 24/7

    - Accelerates progress

Is the governor or Banaadir the same time the mayor of Mogadishu?

  7. Can someone help me out?

    - What are the most expensive (popular) neighbourhoods in Mogadishu? If you can name a few

    - What are the least expensive neighbourhoods in Mogadishu?

    - How much are the property prices at this moment?

If you can give me some indications that would be great. Thanks.

  8. What is up with the inquisition? Does the lack of faith have to mean that loyalty lies somewhere else?

Someone being religious does not automatically have to mean they have the best intentions for the nation. We should stop fooling ourselves with religious privilege. This idolization of 'wadaad's' in Somali culture is pretty naive in my opinion.

Actions speak louder than words than (at times) meaningless religious bagage. If you ever vote for someone, then vote on the most capable person.
