I think, it would only be right, if we call our State, Khaatumo Republic. For example, some States in the United States of America, have "Republic" after the name of the State. For instance, Texas, which is called "The Republic of Texas", or California, which is called California Republic, to name a few. When Khaatumo gets it's own State flag, we should write "Khaatumo Republic" on it, similar to that of California. California OR Texas
