  2. Desperate tactics.  Soomaali du waxay tiraa, 'nin biyo qaadeen, xunbo cuskay '. Very befitting of Kenya.

Kenyan state debt is out of control.  Waa qarash doon.  Chinese are very close to taking over Mombasa port (indebted them to the tilts, now it's time to make them squeal).

  3. Why is he using a derogatory western coined term 'regime ' when he's referring to the current Somali administration?

He clearly said, he advised Swan to take charge of Somali national elections?  Hmm?

Xog: Qiimaha hubka la kala siisto ee Muqdisho oo sare kac uu ku yimid + Sababta

    in Warar

Muqdisho (Caasimada Online) – Waxaa bilihii u dambeeyay la dareemayay sarre u-kac balaadhan oo ku yimid qiimaha magaalada Muqdisho la kala siisto hubka noocyadiisa kala duwan, xili ay xaalada dalka kasii dareyso.

Hubka uu sarre u-kaca ku yimid ayaa waxaa kamid ah qoriga Dhashiikaha, Qoriga PKM, RPG ama Sabanka iyo Qoriga AK47, waxaana dhamaantood hadda lagu iibiya qiimihii hore labo jibaarkeeda, sida ay ogaatay Caasimada Online.

Suuqyada hubka ee loo yaqaano ‘Cir-toogte’ ayaa waxaa labadii bilood ee u dambeeyay saa’id loogu kala iibsanayay hubka noocyadiisa kala duwan, tan iyo intii uu sii xoogeystay khilaafka doorashada dalka.

Sidoo kale sarre u kaca hubka ayaa loo sababeeynaya xaaladda ka jirtay gobolka Gedo, oo ay dowladda federaalka muddooyinkii dambe u daabuleysay hub kala duwan.

Xogta aan helayno ayaa sheegaysa in dhinacyada u badan ee iibsanayay hubka ay kamid ahaayeen Musharaxiinta mucaaridka oo ayagu aad isku hubeynayey, kadib weeraradii kala duwan ee dowladda waqtigeedu dhamaaday ku qaaday 19-kii Febraayo iyo iska hor-imaadyadii u dambeeyay.

Xiisada u dhaxeysa Madaxda u sareeysa dowladda waqtigeedu dhamaaday iyo Musharaxiinta mucaaridka ayaa waxay kasii dartay markii magaalada Muqdisho ka dhaceen shaqaaqo iyo isku dhacyo u dhaxeeyay oo geystay dhimasho iyo dhaawac.

Xaalada siyaasad ee dalka ayaa mareysa meeshii u sareysay, xili uu dhamaaday muddo xileedkii dowladda, islamarkaana aysan jirin heshiis ama is-faham guud oo laga gaaray hanaanka doorashada dalka, mana cada halka ay wax sal dhigan doonaan.

  5. Waa kicin shacab. Trying to appeal to the dark side of Somali psyche, qabyaalad. Laakiin he is only digging himself deep into a political chasm.

They (opposition groupings) are all, almost all of them, have a taken a page from a very nasty, cynical political play book. It's as though they're all advised by the same pundits.

    No political evolution.

  6. ^its not about who sent them to train, it is about maintenance and structure not to mention their salaries.  Give credit where credit is due.

Hasan Sheikh said it clearly that 'if you are soldier and not happy with $100, Leave' or something to that effect.

Insha Allah, it will be even better as a state without its security forces cannot be viable.

  7. Whose narrative do we, Africans, go with. That of the TNZ govt or the whites? Heart problems or Covid?  God knows.

He seemed an individual who wanted to affect positive change in his country if, as some said, he was caught between a rock and a hard place, and decided on the course he did, fair play to him.

It's always of paramount importance that one does what he/she believes to be right within reason.

  8. ^Sometimes one has to take a decision for the greater good.  Spoilers made elections almost impossible, in that case, they shouldn't be allowed to hold the country to ransom.

The strategy seems 'weaken spoilers' strength & show them that they can't stop will of the majority of parliamentarians '. Way to go.

  9. Apparently, the parliament is convening or considering this matter. I say, why not? If there's a stalemate in getting the elections to be held, for the sake of continuity (not for the current admin's sake) and avoiding power vacuum which can potentially be destructive, I say maintain the status quo.

Let's all hope that a year or so is enough for the self surving Somali political elite to come up with a solution.

Till then, an extension doesn't sound the end of the world as paint it to be.

I get the sense you are not someone who is well read (assuming you are literate) I urge you to read Genghis Khan (and the making of the modern world)  by Jack Weatherford. The parallels with somalia is staggering

There's reading and then there's reading.  Reading was supposed to broaden your mind but it seems, in your thought process, you are not capable of seeing beyond your nose, so to speak.

Look at you now equating building a strong Somali army to a bygone era (kacaan) and the  bogeyman.

I don't what your beef is with the current administration in Xamar but we all need a united strong Somali state.

If you have a vendetta against Farmaajo please don't forsake the Socmaal to the wolves (contractors and multinationals not to mention hostile states)

Now go and read on Sayid Maxamed, A med Gurey, Addal sultanate and Ujuuraan empire to top up your diminished pride in Soomaalinimo.

    Madaxa ciida ka celi waryaa!

Whatever it takes for a strong unified Somali state that has the ability to safeguard territorial integrity of the republic and peaceful coexistence of all of her citizens.  Not too much to ask, is it?

If it takes controlled violence with predefined goals and strategies to achieve that, I'm okay with it.

It's the end that justifies the means.

because of a man called Siyad Barre

It has been 30 years, when are Somalis going this chapter to bed? If we rubber stamp every intention to rid this country of jackals and traitors as Barre-sque, then we will not move an inch.

Rather than name calling, look at the intention. This surgical removal of Madoobe and Deni (tumors) is D block on D block, so there is no worry of wider conflict if it's conducted a la Ethiopia (on Tigray).  And remember, once they realise militarily they cannot either defend or defeat well spirited, equipped Somali forces, I guarantee you, they will either run or give in. They don't have popular support to speak of.

You have to understand that peace is always the best option but that's not always the case. If your very existence as people with dignity is on the line, one must take any possible means to that end.
