  1. We lived in this building, there was a club below us, than her apt, than mine. Both of our doors were beside each other, with one main stairway entrance. So we only locked the front door, I left my apt. open most of the time. She didn’t steal from me, nor did I steal from her. She occasionally took stuff out of my apt like sugar, and etc. She also heard the Koran playing several times as well, and she would ask me what it was.

  2. People that backbite are trying to expose the imperfections of others to cover up their own shame. Often people who backbite lack character, self-esteem, and generally lack social skills. They are often jealous of the person they’re talking about, and by exposing or making things about them that are untrue, they somehow feel powerful. It’s also a cheap thrill and it gives them a sense of power momentarily. I think those who hide the shame of others are noble, and their shames will be hidden on the Day of Judgment.

I think you’re sitting on the fence on this meeting thing, and it seems that you’re not alone on this. Let’s just keep it the way it is, I doubt I’d want to interrupt the virtual socialite balance – I’ won’t let illusions wear away, enjoy your apples.

  4. ^^^^^^^^^^^ That’s an optimistic assumption about Muslim youths today.

Many youths are culturally indoctrinated in gaalo land. Many of them are okay with the concept of casual sex, relationships, and cohabitation without marriage. I know many couples that are not married but yet they conduct their daily living as if they were married to each other.

Youths today are growing up with BET ideology, and many Somali girls are succumbing to the baby momma syndrome. We’re at a point where we are advocating phrases like ‘please don’t have a baby’ but still being together has become a norm for us. I can only imagine how many Somali girls had abortions, let alone them being virgins.

Parent’s are unable to educate their youths because of cultural/language barriers. Many times parents are unable to understand the culture in which their children are raised. Even conservative or rather religious youths are often accused of being dull and boring and their rants and raves are ignored. They even get pressured into that kind of lifestyle. I honestly believe that casual dating under the guidelines of the religion is permissible and useful.

If a couple feels like having sex, they should secretly get married, and instead of sinning, they can be together legitimately.

Oh the cheap sarcasm flying around! Stating your personal opinion has become a personal affair, it seems.

What the hell are you talking about?

I doubt your isolationist propaganda or your ‘cheap sarcasms’ and attempts to take aim at community conscious individuals are discouraging anyone from socializing outside of SOL. Btw, you’re a moderator and I think your mandate includes encouraging a collectivist/community minded attitude in this forum. I don’t think people are desperate for human interaction socially, but the meet ups are designed to put names and faces together.

    ;)

  6. Dear cyborg, we know your human controllers have programmed you to capture aliens, but leave SOL aliens alone.

BTW – are you in Canadian? I thought u was European

I’d say regional separation is more important than tribe, or cultural attributes, I couldn’t care less about tribe aristocracy and class divisions based on qabil – that sh!t don’t matter anymore, all people want is money, not qabil superiority.

  8. Pucca I have a hard time following your posts --- something about google, blank pc off computer kicker with zinger slithering sucker tags. I’m just kidding, bet lotta SOL voyeurs were expecting something else

  9. Yeah we can get non-SOL's to show up if we do it in toronto, some ppl might bring security along.

So far no one mentioned Ottawa :(

Toronto is in the lead, followed by Montreal.

Btw --- November good for everyone? or October?

  10. Masha Allah, I have seen many people who have converted, I even took my nieghbour to the Mosque and she was converted, her baby was also converted to Islam. Unfortunately many new converts have little guidance afterwards, they are new they need to learn, but the help is not available. I ran into her at Bus stop in Montreal in my old block she told me that she wasn’t’ practicing anymore, because she did not know many things. I used to help her, because one day she walked in my apt and saw me praying, than she began asking me questions on daily basis, and then one day she was like I’m ready, so we went to the Mosque and she converted.

When she was converted, I told the sheik she needed help and a sister from the community should be assinged help her out, teach her and show her things, he said they would get someone. I guess that never happened.

I gave her my number and told her not to give up, and that i would find her a sister to show her the ropes.

  11. Many youths who commit serious felonies are taken out of the country before they even make the suspect list --- this kid is long gone, he’s probably in Somalia right now, reading this forum.

  12. Aight, seems like Montreal is the hotspot ….let’s get people to vote so far, we have 2 nomads for Montreal. Ottawa: 0 Windsor: 1 Toronto: 0 Edmonton 0.
