    hello Somali!

     

    What do you think of Micheal Jackson on his recent ceeb? According to this "fake law of the land" he is innocent until proven guiltyor. I think he is innocent. But he has this bad behavior which is inviting kids to his bed. :confused: am i contradicting myself here?

     

    What i found peculiar is, that his kids are pure white...how is that possible ..did he adopt them? didn't he consummate the marriage at all?...if he did the kids should be half-caste...and why he cover the kids?

    Jaylaani, I am not questioning their GOD given talent. Whereas, do you think they worth all that money? I think that the money they spend on the pros should be spent on helping the homeless or the less fortunate.

     

    True, A sportsman is an excellent person to advocate a brand. By the way, do you guys know how much NIKE shoe cost and how much does it cost to produce it in cheap labor at Vetiman or Indonessia? You will be amazed.

    Hello Somali

    I have become a little more aware of the money that is given to sports, more specifically the millions of dollars that go toward pro-athletes. Does anyone else find it amazingly idiotic that the world pays people who play games so much money, money that could be much better spent on people in need, COUNTRIES in need. I'd also like to hear arguments in favor of the "funding" for sports.

     

    Lately, We have witnessed Huge sums of cash Nike pays to a player for endorsment. 18 years old high schooler LaBaron 90 Million, 14 years old Frady Adu 1 Million every your for four years, Serna Williams 55 Million. What do you guys think about it?

    Mobb SXB, It's an interesting topic, but fairly difficult to debate in its present form. To debate it properly, it would help greatly of you could do one things: State your position clearly. Though it seems you are for repration.

     

    I recall this topic in my "critical thinking" class at college. Certainly, this issue is very complicated and divsive. Many major global corporations are being sued for profiting from slave labor.

     

    My question is, are there any serviver(from former slaves)? or it is going to be given to their grand children? Who really going to be eligible and who is not? for such a massive reparations?

    Here We started fasting on Monday, I hope and pray we celebrate EID on Wednsday. Because Thrusday and Friday is Thanks giving in the land of the Yankees, which means most buzinesses are closed here. So that will add up five days with out work/school WOW!! That would be a REAL GOOD EID

    I really hope Adu makes a difference in MLS, and becames a good footballer, but please don't compare him to Pele. He has not won anything and in Brazil, Fon instance, there are bunch of good 14 year olds, you just don't hear about, plus some of them when they turn pro don't make it. So please don't compare him to Pele or Mardona yet until he plays with grown men and leads a team to a championship. Too early to tell If he ever leads a team to a championship then praise him, but not now because he hasn't won anything yet!

     

    It is very interesting year for MLS.

    Certainly, despite all the circumstantial problem Somali population faces, they are doing a great job. The other day I saw the Somali team on Fox sport “Football Mondiall” program. They play well but as we all know they guys lack a great deal of financial and moral support. Most of them were physically weak, in comparison of the West African players. INSHA ALLAH one day we will be a winner.
