    AHAD!

Assalamualaikom BissmiAllah Ar-rahmaan Ar-raheem AHAD! Why shed these tears of sorrow? Why shed these tears of grief? Ya nafsy how soon you forget, After trials come sweet relief Why turn you from Ar-Rahman? Why yearn for a listening friend? Ya nafsy, do you not remember, On ALLAH, you must depend? Read you not those stories, of the trials in days gone by, Of the Sahabi beloved by Allah, Who for Allah's cause did strive? Why loosen your hold upon him? Why fling away, His outstretched Hand? Ya nafsy, do you not remember, Bilal's sabr on the blazing sand? "Ahad! Ahad!" He cried, While his flesh did drip and burn. "Ahad! Ahad!" He cried, To Allah alone he turned. Forget you the firmness of Hamza, As the gleaming swords did fall? With Sabr he turned to Allah, as the qureish did slice and maul. Why drown in salty teardrops? How can you dare compare your pain? To that of Yasir and Summayah, As the lay tortured on the scorching plain? Forget you the charring of Khabbab, As on burning coals he lay? Ya nafsy how meager your suffering, Wherefore do you lose your way? Why befriend you not Al-Wali? Why not in Salat to Him complain? Like Job who only to Allah, Turned in all his grief and pain? Forget you those trials in this life, Cleanse your heart and make it clean? Ya nafsy, why all this sadness? Do you not wish your heart to gleam? Be patient in all your hardships, Allah hears your cries of woe. So trust Him and His hikma, For He knows best and you don't know. So tighten your hold upon him, Lest He withdraw His outstretched Hand! And remember the exmple of Bilal, As he lay anchored on the blazing sand. "Ahad! Ahad!" he cried, While his flesh did drip and burn. "Ahad! Ahad!" he cried, To Allah alone he turned.

    STRESS

Stress.... You and I both heard about it... Both fear or lie about it... Can't cope with it?....... Or just in denial of it? Want to get rid of it but don't know how? Answer is easy, if you're not so shallow... First you might want to admit it... Don't pretend you've got no problems and are happy, That kind of attitude will soon land you at therapy. Next you might want to be assertive... Not so passive.... Or wait 'til you become so aggressive... No need to be pretentious... 'Cause that'll only play havoc on you conscience... You think smoking will help? Well, I've got news for you friend: That stuff never worked before... Those cigarette companies will only sell you more.. What's the best medicine you ask? I say LAUGHTER!!.. Laugh at times of difficulties... Laugh at the face of your adversaries.... Laugh when you feel like crying... Laugh when you wish you were dying.... Know that laughter is good for your soul... Your mind and just for YOU, all-in-all.... So, if ever you are dealt with stress... Don't turn it into a fuss.... Just remember to calm down and laugh... I promise you, it will clean up all your mess!!..
  5. Assalamu Alaikum You made an excellent point Shujui-1. These days everyone is smoking. People that smoke don't realize that, if they die because of ciggerates, its harram. It's commiting suicide . So my brothers and sisters, stop smoking anything that's bad for you and I'll garuntee that your life will be happier and healthier .

    AN IDEA!

A new idea applied with great success in the prison of Dubai: The ruler of Dubai decided to decrease the sentence time of prisoners who learn the Quran by heart according to how many parts they learnt as follows: 15 years removed for anyone who learns all the Quran (30 chapters), 10 years for 20 chapters, 5 years for 10 chapter, and 1 year for 5 chapters. after only one year of applying the project, the prison celebrated 35 of its inmates!!! 2 of them were released completely! and 15 dropped 5 years! I cried watching the new look on the faces of people who were one day "criminals" but are now corrected humans who want to go out to teach their kids religion as they said! the officers said the change in character was amazing: no more depression, aggression or fights, complete obedience to the officers and a warm friendly feeling among the inmates...
  7. That was nice poem, especially the BLACK MAN RECEIPE!!!
  8. Manshalla Ali thank you walal for the message.

    WAKE UP!!!

Where are the Malcolms and where are the X's People of today come back to your senses Before the day comes where there'll be no recompenses We are wasting our time at heaven’s expenses Claim over the fences and lay over the Benz’s The west looks at me with a funny type of way Frown, clown do what you want but I'll never turn around From the sunnah of the Prophet and the Holy Quran Which makes up the perfect deen, the religion of Islam I am filled with peace when at the masjid I hear the Iqama But when I show more interest they call me Osama Just trying to practice my deen so they call me extreme They tell me I am too young, I am only twenty one With Muslims of today there will be no sallah-u-deen So wake up and come back home How many times do we hear it, do we need a different tone? It is time to go out there and get our Islam shown
  10. Pity Me Not Pity me not For the clothes I wear Nor for the scarve That covers my hair Pity me not For my black garb My modest air My humble heart. Pity me not For my lack of speech B/c my silent voice Can always find a heart to reach. Pity me not For my Muslim name It is the sign of my honor And the badge of my fame. Pity me not And call me oppressed B/c from society's norms I'm differently dressed. Pity me not But try to understand That I love my religion And I'm proud of who I am! Pity me not For following the divine way But pity those Who have been led astray.
  11. 1. Dress up for your wife, look clean and smell good. When was the last you went shopping for designer pajamas? Just like the husband wants his wife to look nice for him, she also wants her husband to dress up for her too. Remember that Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - would always start with Miswak when returning home and always loved the sweetest smells. 2. Use the cutest names for your wife Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - had nicknames for his wives, ones that they loved. Call your wife by the most beloved names to her, and avoid using names that hurt their feelings. 3. Don't treat her like a fly We never think about a fly in our daily lives until it 'bugs' us. Similarly, a wife will do well all day - which brings no attention from the husband - until she does something to 'bug' him. Don't treat her like this; recognize all the good that she does and focus on that. 4. If you see wrong from your wife, try being silent and do not comment! This is one of the ways Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - used when he would see something inappropriate from his wives - radi Allahu 'anhunn. It's a technique that few Muslim men have mastered. 5. Smile at your wife whenever you see her and embrace her often. Smiling is Sadaqah and your wife is not exempt from the Muslim Ummah. Imagine life with her constantly seeing you smiling. Remember also those Ahadith when Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - would kiss his wife before leaving for Salah, even if he was fasting. 6. Thank her for all that she does for you. Then thank her again! Take for example a dinner at your house. She makes the food, cleans the home, and a dozen other tasks to prepare. And sometimes the only acknowledgement she receives is that there needed to be more salt in the soup. Don't let that be; thank her! 7. Ask her to write down the last ten things you did for her that made her happy. Then go and do them again. It may be hard to recognize what gives your wife pleasure. You don't have to play a guessing game, ask her and work on repeating those times in your life. 8. Don't belittle her desires. Comfort her. Sometimes the men may look down upon the requests of their wives. Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - set the example for us in an incident when Safiyyah - radi Allahu 'anha - was crying because, as she said, he had put her on a slow camel. He wiped her tears, comforted her, and brought her the camel. 9. Be humorous and Play games with your wife Look at how Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - would race his wife Aisha - radi Allahu 'anha - in the desert. When was the last time we did something like that? 10. Always remember the words of Allah's Messenger - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam: "The best of you are those who treat their families the best. And I am the best amongst you to my family." Try to be the best! In conclusion: Never forget to make Dua to Allah to make your marriage successful. And Allah ta'ala knows best

  17. Manshallah that was beautiful big mom
  18. Manshallah thanx for sharing mojam, I'll share this article with my friends.
  19. I got this article from another islamic site: Message: Another type of person who will enter Hell is the corrupt woman who makes a display of herself and tempts men - perhaps this phenomenon has never been quite so widespread as it is now - andnever obeys Allaah (swt). Abu Hurayrah (ra) reported that the Prophet (saw) said: "There are two types of people of Hell that have never seen; people with whips like the tails of cattle, with which they strike the people, and women who are dressed but appear naked, walking with an enticing gait, with their heads looking like the humps of camels, leaning to one side. They will never enter Paradise, nor even smell its fragrance, although its fragrance can be discerned from such and such a distance". (Muslim, al-Bayhaqi, and Ahmad - Silsilat al-Ahadith as-Saheehah, 3/316, no. 1326) Concerning those who have whips like the tails of cattle, al Qurtubee said, "This type of whip can be seen among us in Morocco until now." Commenting on al-Qurtubee's remark, Siddeeq Hasan Khan said, "Indeed it can be seen in every time and place, and it is increasing day by day among the leaders. We seek refuge in Allaah (swt) from all that Allaah (swt) despises". (Yaqadhat uli al-I'tibaar p.113) And I say: we still see such people in many places, striking the people. May they and their like perish. -- Taken from the book: Al Jannah wal Naar anyone here." Imam Ali ibna Abu Thalib and Hadrat Fatimah once visited the Prophet SAW and found him in tears. They asked him the cause and he repied: "O Ali, on the night of my ascencion (Miraj) I saw women of my ummah who were being severily punished that i became concerned for them and started cyring. I saw a woman who had been hung by her breast. Then I saw a second woman who was eating their own flesh and fire raged below her. A third woman was hanging by her tongue and boiling water was being poured down her throat. A fourth was bent over, her hands and feet were tied together, and snakes and scorpions were crawling all over her. A fifth was deaf, dumb, and blind, enclosed in a cage of fire, her brain oozing out of the holes in her skull. Her body fell appart due to leprosy. Another was hung by her feet, inside and over. Yet another woman's body was being shredded to pieces by scissors made of fire. One woman had head of a pig and a body of a donkey and was given several punishments. Another had the face of a dog, fire was entering her body from her posterior and come out of her mouth and the angels were beating her with iron rods." Fatimah then inquired her father, "Please, tell me, what did these women do to deserve such punishment)?" Then the Prophet SAW said : "Listen my dear; The one who was hanging by her breast used to deny her husband, his righful pleasure; The one hanging by her feet used to go out of her house without her husband's permission; The one eating her own flesh used to beautify herself and show her body to man other than her husband; The one who's hands and feet are tied together and covered with snakes and scorpions never to care impurity and wasn't careful about ghusl, thus taking her prayer lightly; The deaf, blind, and dumb, used to bear children through adultery but claim the children belonged to her husband; the one whose body was being cut by scissors made of fire never observed hijab in front of non mahrem men. The one whose body was burned and who was eating her own intestines used to provide other woman for sex; The one with the face of a pig and a body of a donkey was a back bitter and a liar. And those with the face of a dog and who had fire entering her behind and coming out of her face was a jealous woman." May Allah Subhana Wa Ta'allah Protect Us From The Blazing Hell Fire.

    TIME

Imagine there is a bank which credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course! Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today. To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who has failed a grade. To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who has given birth to a pre-mature baby. To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of ONE DAY, ask a daily wage laborer who has kids to feed. To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who has missed the train. To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who has avoided an accident. To realize the value of ONE MILLI-SECOND, ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics. Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time ... and remember that time waits for no one. . . Yesterday is history Tomorrow a mystery Today is a gift That's why it's called the present! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "And your God is one God: there is no god but He; most gracious, most merciful (Al-Quran 2:163).
  21. (1) Intimate: It dares you to disprove it. How? It says that humans can not write a book like this even if they pooled all their resources together and got help also from the spirits. The Quran said this fourteen hundreds years ago and yet no one has been able to disprove it. Billions of books have been written - but not another one like the Quran. (2) Incorruptible: It is the only religious sacred writing which has been in circulation for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in the beginning. The Quran was kept intact. Nothing was added to it; nothing was changed in it; and nothing was taken away from it ever since it was completely revealed 1400 years ago. (3) Unsurpassable: The Quran is God's final revelation to humankind. God revealed the Torah to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus, and finally the Quran to Muhammad. Peace be upon all of them. No other book will come from God to surpass his final revelation. (4) Indisputable: The Quran withstands the test of time and scrutiny. No one can dispute the truth of this book. It speaks about past history and turns out right. It speaks about the future in prophecies and it turns out right. It mentions details of physical phenomena which were not known to people at the time; yet later scientific discoveries confirm that the Quran was right all along. Every other book needs to be revised to accord with modern knowledge. The Quran alone is never contradicted by a modern discovery. (5) Your Roadmap for Life and Afterlife: The Quran is the best guidebook on how to structure your life. No other book presents such a comprehensive system involving all aspects of human life and endeavor. The Quran also points out the way to secure everlasting happiness in the afterlife. It is your roadmap showing how to get to paradise. (6) God's Gift of Guidance: God has not left you alone. You were made for a reason. God tells you why he made you, what he demands from you, and what he has in store for you. If you operate a machine contrary to it's manufacture specification you will ruin that machine. What about you? Do you have an owner's manual for you? The Quran is from your function for success lest you fail to function. It is a healing mercy from God. It satisfies the soul, and cleans the heart. It removes doubts and brings peace. (7) Your Calling Card to Communicate with God: Humans are social creatures. We love to communicate with other intelligent life. The Quran tells us how to communicate with the source of all intelligence and the source of all life- the One God. The Quran tells us who God is, by what name we should address God, and the way in which to communicate with God. Are these not seven sufficient reasons for reading the Quran?
