Duqa degmada Garowe Cabdi casiis Nuue Cilmi Koor oo Radio Garowe siiyey waraysi gaar ah ayaaa sheegay in si wanaagsan uu ku soo dhamaadey kulankaasi islamarkaasina ay ku farxeen hayadihii wadey mashruuca JPLG waxqabadka Puntland.

 

Dhinaca kele Duqa ayaa Radio Garowe u sheegay inuu jiray shir ay Nairobi kula galeen hay'adaha Puntland ay wada shaqeeyaan,waxaana uu sheegay in shirkaas uu wasiirka deegaanku oo hormuud ka ahaa,ayna caasimada Puntland dhirayn laga bilaabi doono dhowaan.

 

Mashruuca JPLG ayaa waxa ku bahoobey shan hayadood oo ka mid ah Qaramada Midoobey,waxana ka mid ah ah shaqadiisa horumarinta dawaldda hoose,baahinta xukunka iyo dimoqraadiyenta.

What or who is JPLG?

 

UN Joint Programme on Local Governance and Decentralised Service Delivery (JPLG).

 

The JPLG is designed to contribute towards:

 

The Somali Reconstruction and Development Programme 2008 –12 (RDP) priority/goal(s) of deepening peace, improving security and establishing good governance and investing in people through improved social services, and specifically to the RDP target outcome of ‘Decentralised service delivery achieved in all of South-Central Somalia, Puntland and Somaliland.

 

It follows a comprehensive approach to rendering local governments as credible basic service providers, and strengthening civic awareness and participation in decision making. The JPLG covers Outcome 1, sub outcome 1.3 of the United Nations Somali Assistance Strategy (UNSAS) 2011 -2015.

 

Current donors to the JPLG

 

EC, DFID, SIDA (Sweden), USAID, Italy, Norway, Denmark, UNDP and UNCDF.

The overall objective of the programme is that local governance contributes to peace and equitable priority service delivery in selected locations.

Very good news, but the roads in Garowe are good already, I hope more roads connecting places in Mudug, they are not good at all.

 

Also Xudun and Badhan, those places should not be left out!!
