Somaliland, Kenya leaders discuss ways to strengthen education, trade and regional stability

Somaliland President H.E Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Irro who is on a visit to Kenya held a high level meeting with Kenya’s President William Ruto.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a number of crucial issues.

They discussed ways to strengthen trade, investment and air connectivity.

They also discussed strengthening stability particularly promoting stability, the prevention of extremists, and supporting the efforts in peace-building in the Horn of Africa.

They also discussed educational cooperation, exchange of academics, building the capacity of gov’t agencies and enhancing youth technical skills.

During the meeting, the two leaders underlined the longstanding ties between Kenya and Somaliland which dates back to a longstanding history, respect, shared interest and united vision of progress and prosperity in the Horn of Africa.
