Health certification now mandatory for Jigjiga’s workforce

Mogadishu (HOL) — Jigjiga, the capital of Ethiopia's Somali Regional State, has rolled out new health regulations requiring workers to provide proof of good health, part of a broader initiative to address public health concerns amid the city's rapid expansion. The measures, effective immediately, mandate medical certification for all workers, verifying they are free from communicable diseases such as HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis.
