Water prices jump 400% in Horn of Africa as worst drought in 40 years worsens

Mogadishu (HOL) - Millions of people in the Horn of Africa, which includes much of Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia, are facing an acute shortage of safe drinking water due to the longest drought on record. A recent report by the international aid organization Oxfam revealed that up to 90% of water boreholes in some parts of the region have dried up completely.
