Oh my Nafs!

O my nafs

Why do you like this dunya so much

Why do like what allah has hated it

Why do preffer this dunya over the akhirah

Why do you insist on anger

Why do you insist on hate

Why do you insist on jelousy

But why? Why? Why?

I just wish that you could answer

But O my Nafs

I know this one for sure...

That I will have to leave one day

Whatever that was dear to me...In this world

Whatever that was close to my heart

I will have to leave everything behind

One day...

And all that will be my company

Will me my deeds

Wether they be bad or good

And all those that I loved

None of them will go with me

In the dark....

In the grave....

So stop now o my nafs

Stop insisting on evil deeds

And make the best out of my life

So that insha-allah

When I go

In the dark

In the grave

I will have a good company

A company that I haven’t realized

How precious it was

In the sight of allah

A Sincere heart...

A True faith...

A simple Smile...

A helping hand...

And all those good deeds

That I did in this world

Will be my best company

In the dark...

In the grave...

And Those good deeds

Will be the light of my grave

The light of my siraat

And the light that will win

The favors of allah on me

And on that day O Allah

I hope that you’ll forgive me

For all my shortcomings

And all my mistakes

And O my Lord

I hope you’ll have Mercy on me

For I’ve never despaired

Your mercy and forgiveness

For you’re the most Merciful, most Forgiving.
