Qatar Strongly Condemns Bombing in Somalia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives or reasons
DOHA, QATAR, February 20, 2022/ — The State of Qatar strongly condemns the bombing that targeted a restaurant in the central Somali town of Beledweyne that has left both deaths and injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives or reasons.

Additionally, the Ministry expresses the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
