Five killed in suicide bombing in Mogadishu

A bomber has killed at least five at a tea shop in the Somali capital, Mogadishu on Saturday evening at around 7:00 pm local time.

A police officer said the explosion happened after suspected Al-Shabaab militants detonated themselves up inside the building amid a hectic situation.

The attack in the Shangani area also left several people wounded who have been admitted to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
