Puntland Security Forces Foil Al-shabaab Attack in Bosaso

Bosaso (PP News Desk) — Puntland Security Forces have foiled Al-shabaab plans to attack parts of Bosaso, the commercial city of Puntland.

Improvised explosive devices seized by Puntland Security Forces in Bosaso.

“Our forces managed to prevent attacks Al-shabaab was planning in parts of Bosaso. Puntland Security Forces seized improvised explosive devices assembled at Al Madow to wreak maximum havoc against citizens” reads a statement issued by PSF.

Last week Puntland Security  Forces arrested Al-shabaab operatives at Galgala mountains. The new security strategy places preventive measures at the heart of PSF operations in coordination with the police and neighbourhood structures following the reorganisation of Bosaso into four major neighbourhoods.
