Al-Shabaab suspects nabbed in army operation in Somalia

The Somali National Army (SNA) has launched an operation against Al-Shabaab in areas near Jamame district in the Lower Jubba region.

The SNA operation was aimed at ensuring security.

The commander of the army’s 56th Brigade has said that members of Al-Shabaab had been captured alive, adding that the operation would continue.

The small towns of Araare, Bangiini, and other villages, where strong fighters of Al-Shabaab are stationed are on the SNA rader.
